Japanese Equivalent of Buddy Pass System?

I've heard about the Buddy Pass in the US PC DVD version of FFXI currently available, and how Square lets you download an installer for PlayOnline Viewer and FFXI when you use that Buddy Pass. What I'm looking for is such an approved download option for the Japanese PlayOnline Viewer. I have a Japanese account because I imported near the Japanese PS2 release, and if something happens with my Japanese PS2, I'd like the option to edit my account information with a PC, since I can't do so with the US client. Does SE have an equivalent service on their Japanese site? I'm really poor with kanji right now, so I'm having trouble finding it myself if there is one.

I don't have a computer capable of running FFXI, but PlayOnline Viewer runs, and it seems like a bit much to pay when all I need is one install CD that might never get used. I've already bought the JP PS2 version, and had to get the US PS2 install discs to use my account in English for Quests and Missions I can't read well enough in Japanese yet.

unfortunately, no, s-e in Japan doesn't offer such service at this time.

You can always try to e-mail them and ask, or even ask for Live Support (RT Chat) on www.playonline.com They usually give you a sollution.
