Hello again, im now playing the game and enjoying it very much.
But when some of my questions where answered playing the game, even more cropped up :O

First thing, Beastmen's Seal what is it, what does it do and i have to many of it.

Second, i played BLM as suggested, unfortunatley when i did i found it quite... challenging to contorl my agro. After using 2 spells max i would gain agro. This was in a level 4ish group hunting orcs, we didnt have a warrior to tank granted.. it was a monk but. 2 spells.. id be better of running up to it and just meleeing, this proved to be a problem.. i tried a monk soon after however and havent looked back

Theres probably more to be asked and you can have no doubt that i will bug you guys first =D thanks and happy hunting

it's really better to just solo until level 10 for blm and 15-ish for monk. you will gain more xp solo than in a pt until those levels.

yes, without a provoke to put a lot of hate on whoever is tanking, one or two spells is all it takes to pull hate.

save those beastmens seals. you'll need them later. beastmen seals are used to enter a type of instance called a bcnm. once you get high enough level to start doing bcnm's, youll want as many of them as ou can get^^

p.s... i know you're new, but you got a term wrong. "aggro" is when an orc sees you walking by and attacks you out of spite. "hate" is when he attacks you because you out-damaged the tank. just fyi^^

Ok, so i was wondering how hate was calculated.
Is it built up over time kind of like a graph where the warrior should be the highest bar or is it calculated turn based, like a graph thats resetted after a period of time has expired.
I was told it was the latter by somone, honestly im not to impressed with this system =/

Hate is built whenever you do anything at all. cast spells, use ability, hit the mob, deal damage, cure friends etc. Provoke generate huge spike of hate but decrease really fast, while everything else will slowly decrease.

If you are a tank, your repliable instant hate builder is of course Provoke. After provoke, it is a matter of how you average out other spells/abilities to keep building hate while provoke is recharging. Don't use everything all at once, prolonging the hate is important too.
