I'm having trouble with certain macro's while using the japanese client . for example im trying to make a "provoke" macro. unfortunatly i think the symbols are in kanji for it and i have no idea how to go about finding the symbols to type in. Im trying to help my japanese studies (i just started taking classes) and hirigana and katakana seem a whole lot easier than these complex symbols i cant seem to find >< can someone help? I would appreciate some info from Jei since i know he is knowledgeable on this ^^ thanks in advance!

Re: Kanji
You know what would make it easier? Have a friend with an NA client use autotranslator and send the words to you. Then you'll know what the kanji is.
Btw, provoke is chouhatsu, so if you started typing out chou and hit the space bar, you should get some kanji equivalents from IME and then select it there. If you're a student, as you say you are, use a dictionary.
Also, the short menu in game and the long menu should both have the Job Ability category in which you select it to view all job abilities of your current job. Seeing you're only level 14 WAR, you should only have one job ability at the moment: provoke.
Edit:
Another tip when typing out macros is not to use quotation marks. The macro will fire fine w/o them.
Example:
/echo Using job ability 挑発 on <t>.
/ja 挑発 <t>

Re: Kanji
you can use tab and choose from the translators. Look in [アビリティ] and most of the abilities should be in there.
another way is to learn how to pronounce them, if you have friends in game who used to be importers, they should know most abilities' romanji. There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,
but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence
transform a yellow spot into the sun.
