  • Subjob Quest

You know, recently, there's been a lot of questions being asked by players with regards to what subjobs would be good for the main job class of their choosing. We get varied opinions and sometimes heated exchanges with regards to those choices.

However, let me make one thing clear. Square Enix does favor "proper" job combinations. Although there were no official statement made with regards to this topic, the subjob quest you receive in either Mhaura or Selbina should've made this clear to EVERYONE.

Vera: And selecting a job with a level less than half of your main one as your support job isn't going to do you much good, either. Make sure you're using your jobs to their fullest when choosing support jobs.
And players wonder why when people call them "nubs" when using underleveled subjobs during exp sessions. Listen, people. When you're called a nub because you use an underleveled job as your subjob, you fully deserve that insult and much more.

Vera: As to which job is best suited to your main job...ideally, it should be one that either covers your main job's weaknesses, or one that enhances its strengths.
It's nice and all to be "creative," but unfortunately, this game does have a stiff penalty for "creativeness without merits." I invite all players to think logically before acting out irrationally with a poorly chosen job combination.

That's all for this installment of your friendly community bulletin.

actually a high level pld like 70 can sub whm or smn and with good mage mp eq he can get more then 650-700 depend on sub. not forgetting u can use cure staff and cure earring which mean a total of 15% cure boost more then most mage.
with 650-700+ mp, it is more then an average human rdm mp etc and i am only talking about a human pld ;p i try that out and it was cool lol. too bad no wonder dare to invite me as a mage sub for my pld haha
