    Re: FFXI Fashon Guide 2005?

Yeah.. I really wish we had the option of buying that stuff- even if most people prefer to look it up online. I'm still holding onto my spring 2004 edition of the Brady Guide. Yeah I know it sucks, but it's a nice reference. Did they ever make a new version? I knew one was in the works, maybe S-E updates too fast for them -_-.

Wheeeee look at that shipping! I wonder if they give you a discount or you have to pay it for each! Yep those are a few of the guides for FFXI. For an offline game there is usually a jump, beginners/lets get started, visual, basic info, map/area, weapons/armor, etc. So if you collect them all it is quite costly.

I also still have my Spring '04 edition of the BG-strategy guide for FFXI myself. And no, they've not made an updated edition yet.

Yes it's all in Japanese, however even if you can't speak Japanese I think you would still be able to pick out a ton of information from it since it's mostly maps and the like. If you can learn to read katakana then things will become a million times easier. You won't be able to work out any data on specific area details though without at least an intermediate level of understanding.

I found it on Amazon - here's the link: http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/...572214-8467529

Take note that this book only focuses on areas and such, it doesn't give any information on jobs, abilities, strategies, items etc. It does have an NM section however which tells you what NM drops what and where it is.
