he did his job
he dispelled cocoon with fenrir and with the one minute timer on blood pacts, there's not much else he could possibly do during battle.
so he was kicked out for being a bad 'dd.' smns pre level 70 have very limited dd capabilities but they do have awesome support abilities. the pld leader, simply put, had absolutely no idea how to utilize each job in a party for effective exp, or in this case, an effective fight.
so even if jei didn't show back up and the pld had his dd, the group would be just as bad since now there's absolutely no one dispelling cocoon. and the group would actually be worse off than if he didn't kick him out.

the Lunar Roar is an AoE dispel

Ha, in some irony I was tanking as a nin, with 3 smn in a PT there before. They would make a SC and MB off it lol. Damage was ok, nothing really good or bad.

You guys are too much of a goody-two shoes. ROFL. Jei, feel comforted to know that a good friend of mine once trained the entire CN, front to back and then front again, and then some for good measure, seriously lost, totally panicked and not knowing where up or down was. I think she accidentally PK'd about 50 or players and was added to the /blist of at least another 100 more.

PLD + NIN in xp party is asking for trouble 99.9% of the time. You should have disbanded way before it came to that.

That was funny as hell Jei. Sure the rest didn't deserve it but it seems like the entire party was a bunch of morons anyway. Honestly, who makes exp pts with PLD + 3 NIN? They should have kicked the Ninjas and found some DD's and kept you for support. Actually, i've been in one of those before in Kuftal Tunnel. The pld put on a great sword and a scorp harness and went to town while the nin tanked. I dont really find the idea of PLD NIN NIN NIN SMN WHM, because the NINs can eat DD food and do nice damage, but kicking you and saying they need a DD was a very stupid thing to do....your PT had 3 DDs already, unless they where eating the wrong food, that PLD wont get fare if he continues to act like that.-------------------------------------------------------------------------

the problem with the group from the get-go would be that they had no one to dispel. jei could've dispelled but as he stated it's aoe and he would've just aggroed everything observe the splendor of ping pong balls!Comment

They can be pretty good damage dealers if they have good gear. I was in a party at level 38 nin and was the only DD, and my dmg wasn't tood bad, usually around 15-30 each hit.

doesn't sound like they cared or wanted to be DDs. and a party w/ 4 tanks just really doesn't make anyone envious of your xp/hr.
actually i think SE's original vision for nin is DD and if they have the right gear and foods, DDs they can be. however a lot of people get pigeon-holed to think nin=tank and will only preform nin in that manner. like smn=gimp whm, rdm=refreshbot. to think like that and you cut yourself off from what your job can be.Paragon of Red Mage Excellence

At first when I read the title, I thought you "bought gil" as your sin, but I guess training some people isn't that bad. Maybe next time you should just "farm" around them, and kill all the crawlers. I mean I did that, it's fun having Ramuh do a AOE BP to get all the hate from all around and kill them one by one with him.Hacked on 9/9/09
