I don't care how SE does it, I don't give a rats ass if they make HNMs almost too easy to be worth anyones time...all I know is I want Pago and Goodcat to get the HELL OUT OF GARLAIGE!!!!

In terms of HNMs, I suppose those fighting it (whole party/alliance) could enter some sort of exempt status preventing outside monsters from aggroing or linking. If I were a crab or lizard or cactaur or tiger or raptor in Kuftal I would not want to be around Guivre when it spawns.

And it was mentioned KI was the a-hole of ffxi civilization. I completely agree, except then that would make gamefaqs the dark center of the a-hole...the Maw if you will.

I rather liked the idea mentioned of once you get claim it takes you to a BC like zone. Its something that prevents non-allianced members from indirectly interfering with you. Though, arent a few HNM's fought with more than 18 people? Rotating in various jobs to attack once then disband to let someone else in (Monks and chi blast).
