I think EQ2 was a waste of PC power personally... more detailed models yes, but not a better looking model. It's just like master artist draw excellent human with very little line with in 5 minutes, versus a clueless artist spending weeks rendering his human and looks horrible.

I do believe they now give you the option to use "SOGA" models, essentially they redid the models for EQ2 in Asia (apparently they have the same style as the models form FFXI, and given SEs involvement with EQ2 it doesn't surprise me).

I don't have any pictures readily available, however

I like how he answers "I am having tons of fun on FFXI!" when asked, "Are his friends having fun(on WoW)".

You can make plenty of close friends in FFXI without knowning them in rl.

wow I've never heard of EQ2 new graphics before. But o well I haven't heard anything about WoW expansion too ._. I really want to see some screenshots if anyone can post.

Anyway, this is an old old article posted on penny arcade. It was edited out to be a lot less subjective but I happenned to saved the original one xD

I can't respect anything Pennyarcade says. Their entire site screams funded opinions and fanboyism much like Game Pro.
