Hahahaha. Some people piss me off to the point where I wish their deaths in-game. In fact, I wanna just take a Bastard Sword and *swick!*....
But then again there's no getting to people nowandays. The greed and selfishness of some players in FFXI make my insides turn with disgust. If you thought rising AH prices were bad enough, then boy you have been missing out.
I had a whole alliance last night in Garlaige Citadel. Why? We were hunting the key for my AF hat (White Mage). I was the slow poke, I was the last one to make it; everyone else made it before me. How did I get an alliance? A whole Linkshell, FlunkYouLater (Event LS) decided to help. Bless their souls.
While I was in Sauromuge Champaign, I hear one of them mentioning that they see Serket.
"Serket {Found it!}"
"Are they kiting it?"
"They're doing it poorly..."
I wasn't too worried. Then I get into the Citadel. We gathered together, buffed up, and started kicking ass. Ten minutes into the fun, I see this from one of our pullers....
"10 Vault Weapons {Take care.}"
Is she serious? Yep. Some dude with 10 Vault weapons dashes past us.
"Are they trying to MPK us?"
"no"
So we continued. Then suddenly, the Vault Weapons come after us. Not a problem, they were taken care of....
So we continued, and then suddenly a lot of people come past us and a lot of monsters were dumped on US! And I -REALLY- mean a lot.
1 Fetid Flesh, I counted about 30 bats, 20 Beetles, 15 Magic Jugs, 17 Fallens, 15 or so Wraiths, and Serket.
What the #&@!?!
"(Shippo) Why the hell did they do that?!"
"They must have thought we were going after Serket."
And now, I bring you screens of the carnage at Garlaige Citadel.
Me being healed while Serket was stabbing away at fellow members.
The Bats and Fetid Flesh.
Me STILL trying to survive, and a Magic Jug has picked me as a fun target.
Me biting the dust. A few Wraiths in the background, plus Serket..
More MPKedness.
All of that for 6 MIL?! I think Serket was killed off....
That was really uncalled for; we were only hunting a Garlaige Coffer Key! I cannot say how much I despise the Hyper Notorious Monster Linkshell. They ALWAYS have to be at the top of everyone, bashing the hell out of us who play innocently. I have heard other occurances like this too, including the HNMLS "Darkheart" MPKing another LS with Amikiri, then killing Amikiri...
And after all of that and the GM calls, they got away with it.
