Pld friend of mine was in a jp pt once. They find out hes gaijin, kick him from pt, then escape out in the middle of a mob. <.>
Anyway, I'd say its polite to stay for someone's lv if theyre close, however to me, it doesnt matter too much if i get a lv or not(unless its a special lv like 73 for pld or 33 for thf), i just want to get good exp/hr.
As far as replacements...I generally prefer forming a pt who is all willing to stay together for a reasonable amount of time, breaking when people leave, then if youre still up to it, make another PT back in town. I've been asked to replace people in a pt for a while....15 mins after i spend 20k gil to get there+eat food they disband --; Also, ive had plds invite blms for replacement....and whms invite drgs for replacement. Even a DD inviting a different job DD can be problematic due to renkei incompatibility. So yeah....IF everyone did replacements "correctly" it theoretically would work great, however from personal experiences, maybe 5% of people actually get a decent replacement.Calin - RagnarokComment

I am sorry to hear that. That has happened to me quite a bit with my lvl 9 WHM. I help them level up to my level so that we can party then they are like, ok, we dont need you anymore, and leave. What ever happened to kindness and manners? I guess some people just dont get the point, lol.
