Lets all face it SE has dropped the ball this month. There have been what 4 maintenance's this week? all for more than 2 hours, that is just simply pathetic.

All due to DDoS attacks. It was on the Information page too. It isn't entirely Square's fault when you think about it.

The fact that people complain is for the money and time they have invested in the game. Whoever plays the game for a long time will end up lusting for improovent. We are paying a monthle fee, so in order to realise that the money we invest in the game is put to good use, the producers of FFXI (SquareEnix) has a complaint desk, when enugh people complain, Square is forced to do somthing, with the playes hope for improovment, somthing must be done, in that somthing there is a part where you have to complain. Look at it this way; whan you wish to have somthing you must first work for it.

Complaining is but one of the ways to acctually gain a bether ingame experiance as whaell as a place to vent, in a professional manner.

You shoud thank the people who complain, the change to a bether ffxi starts with them.

Not really.

SquareEnix takes every complaint verry seriusly. I used to thing as such while I was playing Ragnarok Online untill I got an answer from gravity(the company responsable for iRO).

What their answer said makes a lot of sense; Basicly, every MMORPG is looking to attract new costumers while keeping the current ones playing. If somone complains, it is a risk of that person laving the gameplay. So SquareEnix takes the complaint in question to, lets say, the ''Resolution department''. The ''Resolution department'' is devided into two groups; one gets new custumers while the other one satisfys the current ones. If the game becomes majorly flawd, SquareEnix will invest more personel of the ''Resolution department'' into making the ingame experiance bether while the department responsable for getting new costumers will sufferduring those 2-5 months. When there is less players coming in the game, Less money is attributed to all the departments including the ''Resolution department''. Also, i fthe complaints surpass a certan number that means there is a major flaw in the game, so ALL the current projects will be put on hold. Making the whole game suffer greightly.

Many people might think that SquareEnix does nothing but there are so many subjects of bether value or more importance then small details wich the complaints are usually constructed of. Understand that things such as reducing the ingame LAG, DCes and populating the servrs are the current priorities of SquareEnix. Then projects like, New Classes, Quests and Cityes are their second.

Dont be fooled, Every MMORPG game producer takes greight effort in making the ingame experiance bether by answering your complaints. Some might take a month other a year or so but understand they will all be taken care of one day or an oter.
