  • Question about records..

In the long time I've played, I never really thought about it till now. It's an extremely stupid question, but here goes:

Is there a way to check records? I wanted to check it for my boyfriend's Maat fight. He was so excited when he told me that he beat the record for Thief awhile back.

Mostly I wanted to take a screenshot of it to rub it in some jerk's face who claimed there's no way my boyfriend could beat Maat as a thief in 47 seconds..as they "are too weak" and that he's "never met any thief's past lv 60+ worth pting with".

Now I know I shouldn't get so worked up over it..but really, why did he have to go and insult someone he's never met? It just sounds so damn elitist. I thought it was especially silly since his subjob was thief..

The only way I know of, is to enter into the same battle. So, you'd have to fight maat as a thf and it would tell you before the fight started. There may be an npc somewhere that stores all that, but its not any ive ever heard of.
We set the record a while back for promy-mea, but everyone in my ls said the only way to check it, was to do it again.
    I RNG 75 I WAR 37 I NIN 38 I SAM 50 I Woodworking 92+2

    PSN: Caspian

Agh..I figured that was the only way, but I hoped it wasn't.

This wouldn't bother me so much, but like I said, he insulted him without ever having met him. I do concider my bf to be a very talented thief, and it does sting a little to hear that jerk say things like that..

I think the records are reset after every maintenance, and with all the difficulties we have been having lately it's probably gone. :<
The only way to check as far as I know is to enter the fight again and have it tell you who currently holds the record, if it's still there.
