The longest I've ever played at once was about 8 hours. I had just gotten the game though so I had no need for a party at that time.

My butt can only take maybe 4-5 hours tops , So I'll try for PT for about 10-15 minutes, if there isnt one i'll Form one. I do non-standard Pt's so Finding people to go with isnt hard, Ill adjust the location. Cant find a tank get a Sam ^^.

If th ePT is extremeley good I'll do 3-4 hours tops then end it. Simply because I try to, limit myself on FFXI so i dont suffer any burnout.

my longest PT was from 8PM PST all the way to 11AM... that was 13 hours. We had 2 meal breaks in between for 30 minutes each time.

The grinding is never too long. It's you that should know your limit

I think the most I played was in NA Beta, went from Friday evening around 5pm-ish until Sunday night around 1-2am XD With 3hr breaks for sleep each day, hai hai, those were funny days. The whole group of us would be zombie like. One PST person mentioned that I was really weird coz I'd ask him to start a party at noon EST, coz they just woke up XD and I had already had 2-3 parties by then.

Oy, no way ever doing that again!!! Yucks, Me old ladieth now, must get booty sleep. These days I'm lucky if I can find 3hrs to play in a week /cry.

I've done some 5 hr and an 8 hr party, those were very good parties and either on my day off, or the night before. the rest of the time I end at 3-4 hours at the most. to be on longer, I may fall asleep at work.

don't I wish, but sometimes my job involves driving and last i heard driving and sleeping don't mix. sometimes that's the only reason I cut my xp sessions down when I have a good pt on the other nights.

well it depends on the party if u got an uber party then go for it the longer the better until ur mom resets the connection or filps the breaker for ur room lol

Longest time partying for me is 8 hours. Usually I shoot for 2-3 hours during the week and as long as the party is good on the weekends.

Wow. Never in my entire playing time have I had a pickup party that stayed together for more than 4 hours, some of you guys are very lucky. My static doesnt even stay together for more than 5(but we made up for that with multiple sessions a week)!

You never know until you try. Only time I ever fell asleep driving, I started hallucinating all sorts of weird crap.
I have trouble staying into it past a certain point. I think I said it earlier, if its my main then I can go for a while, but if its one of my subs I get bored quick. Even xp'ing on rng, unless the xp is phenomenal I just get bored after a few hours and have to do something different.

I'm the same way. Subs get really dull and boring. I hated lvling WAR, SAM was so-so, but RDM was just killer. It was new and refreshing at first, but by the time I hit Garlaige it was boring as hell.

Longest PT I've been in lasted 9 hours. I remember it very well too. It was a phenominal PT, otherwise I might not have gone for so long. It did get a little dull for the last hour or so because we had gotten into a sort of machine-like process of pull, use our killing method, repull, rinse, repeat. First time I ever lvled twice in a PT post-50 though.

I did 12-22 in the dunes, on blm, I had all scrolls up to warp, then when I learned that, I ended up using it to go get fresh signet and more scrolls food for the party. swapped out a full range of members, and completely owned the beach we were camped on... people looked at me like I was nuts, but after a half an hour, they looked at their tnls and were impressed. Novel concept, chaining Toughs is faster EXP than IT++ mobs in the dunes... Think it was about... 6 hours... but then, I've also done a manaburn for a full level pre exp change... that was O.O...
