Tatami Shield

I am considering getting this shield but wondering if it is really worth it. It goes for about 3,400,000g on Lakshmi. Having all killer effects seems like an interesting gimmick but does the imtimidation effect really kick in that often?

For all those that have the shield, give me your opinion... Is it worth 3mil+? Would you say it's an appropriate choice for a THF?

Do you have a LS that can get it for you? (As in, kill the NM). Looks like they can kill Kirin.

Yeah my LS could kill Gration but I dont have access to Misareaux Coast... Damn CoP missions (;-_-)

Thank you for that constructive post.

Anyways, killer effects reallly don't kick in all that often. As a paladin killing undead, it kicks in once or twice a fight but it is handy. What's worse is that it kicks in even less while fighting IT, so it might be more useful if you're fighting EP or lower.

It's pretty good for solo farming purposes as well. Killer effects aside the + STR and + Evasion is always welcome when THF has really poor options for shields.

Its a nice shield for thieves, exactly for the reasons Nodachi gave, but you should never have to buy it. The NM is not hard, the pop item is not hard to get. The only reason its expensive on your server is that people are taking advantage of suckers like you who can't go to Tavnazia for whatever reason and have a disposable income.

Start doing your Promathia missions then get your shield. You're going to need them for Limbus anyways.
