dose anyone know when the new expansion is commng out? its in october rite? but like what day. Its just bugging me i cant find it... =(

The newest expansion, Treasures of Aht Urghan, was just revealed at the Tokyo Games Show last month. A release date has yet to be confirmed, but it is expected that the expansion will be released some time in the spring alongside the Xbox360 version of the game.

Xbox360 goes on shelves November 22nd. Europe December 2nd and in Japan on December 10th.

There's a patch with some new stuff in it but not the full expansion.

tracert, the xbox is released then, but the game dosn't come out till way later.

Assuming beta signups begin the week the Xbox360 is released, the test will most likely not be over until January/February. According to one of Xbox Live's directors, the test will be open to all Xbox Live Gold subscribers. My assumption is that the game will go gold about a month or two after the beta completes, and will ship to retailers in April or May 2006.

Logically, it would not make sense for Square Enix to ship Treasures of Aht Urghan 2-3 months following the Xbox 360 version of the game. The expansion will most likely ship at the same time as the next-gen version, included in the package.
