I have a radeon 700 x pro or somethign like that, and I am thinking about getting the VISIONTEK RADEON X850XT 256 MB PCIE Graphics Card - Platinum Edition , if I do upgrade will I see a difference in the game?

Well not much, you can hack the ressuoltion and play smoothly...but other then that ffxi will look about the same...But if you wanna talk about general gaming, yes youll see a HUGE leap...

FFXI is frame rate capped so you won't see it much better, general lag will still exist (lower jeuno). If you are upgrading get a X800GTO2, its the same core as teh X850XL but for $200! its 100% flashable to X850XL.Need Yin Yang Rob!Comment

You should know that high end game cards are cpu limited. Like you have to run at 1600x1200 sometimes for it to be really worth the cash your dishing out for an x850xt pe. 1280x1024 depending on the game.
