I always thought the player refugees in WoW were pathetic, just go out and do something else for a while, but to each their own! I had a few good memories in WoW, like when I solo'd that level 60 mage in Felthias or whatever. I was a level 51 warrior and the other warrior I was with was sheeped. That made me jump up and yell hell yea.

why is that pathetic? (even though I only did it once) it's not like I went to another PvE server during maintence (which would have been redundant) but wanted to check out another server type. If it was the day before or after, would that have been pathetic? I guess you were among those "Elitist" 1 server only types. Besides that was the best time to see what the idiots on that server are really like.

I find it ironic my most memorable MMO moment was due to a situation you call "pathetic"

however if you noticed, I did say "Guild" meaning someone was established on that server and understood the plight of those who were misplaced, because thier server was one of the only ones that was "online." Someone took the 10 Gold and purchased a Guild charter and came to newbie area.

personally, the next server maintence I went and did the SMN quest and haven't played WoW since.

I guess you havn't seen how bad it can get. Are these people so addicted to the game they have to create a new character to screw around when they can't access their original? This is probably best for a whole different topic.

2) no I guess I haven't, it was definately fun the first time. that novelty had worn off by the next time... I guess that explains why the whole server was anal about the immigration. I knew people were upset about connecting, but w/ 5 servers online iirc I thought they were just jerks when 30 servers weren't able to connect at all.

yeah, I dont sit looking at POL trying to connect every 30 sec when I find it down, if I try a 2nd time and it doesn't work, I find something else. everytime? sorry, didnt realize.

Yea, I apologize as well, I probably could have worded that comment better. I'm used to being mean or playing mean with my friends and sometimes it leaks out. =/

My fave time was when a member had a birthday, so we called a meeting in the Tree in windy, and at the conclusion of the meeting, we were like "HAPPY BIRTHDAY XDEF!!!" and we all set off our job abilities and fireworks and stuff.

It was cool.

I wonder how my LS is doing .__.

Actually something similiar happened to me. It was my birthday and usually my bdays are kinda bummer, but they, my LS all went happy bday and stuff in windwoods XD and i made a few friends and all and rampaged the West Saru. It was pretty touching i feel =/ And i remember that still. Lots of fireworks, gifts and random abilities and stuff. Was fun...

Going to watch Lunarians (HNMLS on Bismarck) kill one of their first Fafnirs as a low level RDM (relatively....o_O)

Actually lol, (edit), getting killed by King Behemoth watching the same LS. (with friends too )

Mine was Trying to Solo war axe beak @ lvl 60 and getting Stonega IV for 1306 dmg and carried on fighting

Mine are mostly from solo experiences. Accomplishing things purely through my own skill. However, my favorite moment was one of serenity. EQ was my first real MMO *cough*meridian59*cough* and I was sitting on the docks in Erudin and caught the sun rising out of the ocean. There was something perfect about it that it's stuck with me more clearly than any other memory.

Finding someone to party with for more than one day, it's quite lonely when you're in your early levels ^_^;

my greatest moment was in EQ2 in my guild on a raid, a contested mob was up and we were the only raiding guild with ebnough people on (4 groups, 6 people each, 10 healers a badass tank and lots of damage), we never fought this mob before and the best raiding guild on the server had a couple people looking on us to see what we would do, we wiped the first time, and came back for more.
the next pull, we got him, took us 30 minutes, with the members of teh rival guild actually killing the potential adds from getting to us and cheering us on. that night really made all my time in the game up till then woth it, I never felt such a feeling of accomplishment, its why I love MMO's, the player interaction by real people.

hey im pretty new at this whole deal but why dont we find a method of gil donation to the site that way people who wanna apply for a gil loan or a maby a freebie or somthing like a comunity gil pool or somthing

my favorite moment that i will never forget was not in ffxi but runescape. i was fighitng in the abyss and all of a sudden i got the mime randome event. ( i had been waiting for this random event for 2 years) in this random event you are teleported to a stage and your suposed to mimmic a mimes movemnts. well i was so nirvous that i messed it all up only got 2 out of 10. but i still got the prize and all was well
