If we don't like something, collectively, if our hatred for it throbs like an abscess beneath every thread, does that mean that they're doing something right?

yeah i played jobs with the coolest af.rng and sam, then i saw a pld in full adaman and im like oh snap son i want that!then im like 33k tnl and i get it woooo!!
In the moonlight, your face it glows.. like a thousand diamonds, I suppose.
And your hair flows like.. The ocean breeze...
Not a million fights could make me hate you, you’re invincible. Yeah, It’s true.
It’s in your eyes, where I find peace.
I want to raise SAM, cause they're so fudging awsome. But parties are retarded, cause all anyone wants to do is Distortion, even if that means making the SAM do Tachi:Enpi at lvl 68.
Oh and i dun know how the invites are, cause SAM are TP bastards with RNGs the way they are post-patch. I DO know that having 2 SAMs in the party is probably the biggest display of WS and MB damage ever. I want to make a static with another SAM if I decide to raise the job, for the sole purpose of having the sickest WSs (I'm also mad how SAMs can participate in both light and dark. . .)

You don't always have to be doing something productive in the game, for instance right now I've been leveling THF for fun. Only one more level until Trick Attack D:
Lol, didn't notice it was in the Quests section. Moving it to General FFXI discussions.
Cheezy Test Result (I am nerdier than 96% of all people. Are you nerdier? Click here to find out!)
geez, over a year of playing for me & my highest is only lvl 43. . . I have serious FFXI A.D.D.
I try to do to much at the same time, like I want to do this one quest, 2 secs later I want to lvl that one job. . . 4 later I want to kill this NM. . . It's all to much for me ;_;
Yay, Ty for this Eohmer~
Silentsteel - Taru of Awesomeness on Valefor
80 Whm, 86 Drg, 40 Sam, 37 Blm, 31 Smn, & lower as it goes down... I have way too much play time for no levels, lol.
About 3 years I think since the NA release... I don't have a job past 68, but almost all of them to 37. Started like every NA gimp, wanted to be a drg, but all my friends went drg so I went drk, got that to 55, quit, leveled subs, restart drk to 66, quit, level mage jobs, then went rdm to now.
Similar trouble when deciding which craft to level lol.
Throw in two other characters that I also leveled, then deleted, plus three occasions that I said I would quit FFXI forever, only to come back...
=
Lots and lots of wasted time with next to nothing to show for it.
Taken me 2 years to get to 71, but my ADD suffers from the lack of will to level up my main. I don't level up other jobs either >.> I think it's because I try to be too helpful and end up not getting any exp for weeks at a time while some group of people are getting their AF/Missions/Ranks done because of me >.>
Does anyone get the feeling i do sometimes when they play ffxi? Everytime i play ffxi i get started with a job and get excited, but as soon as a cool looking ranger comes by in af armor your immediately zoned on rng and go level that job. That happens to me way too much and i dont get anything done. Dont get me wrong, I was just wondering if other people have the same problem as i do or am i just an idiot who cant pay attention when it comes to ffxi?
3 Years ago i saw Triel run by and have been Triel ever since ^^.
3 years ago i saw Triel as a Rdm run by and have been Triel RDM ever since. 2 years ago they released SMN and I played ffiv aroudn same time, Been a will remain a SMN forever ^^
Been playing since NA pc release as well and my highest job to date is 63, I can never remain focused on anything for to long.
Started out as a monk, went warrior, wanted to go ninja, did that to 30, saw a redmage in AF, went redmage to 42, got bored, went dragoon to 30, didnt like my level 30 ugly scale armor, went black mage to 37 for rdm subjob, went back to redmage till 61 got tired of being under appreciated no matter what you do in groups so I went bard to 63 got praised constantly, and still got bored, went thief, got to 33, decided I need to finish a job for once, and am now leveling up whm to sub for bard. lol.

my brother suffers from that, and all of his jobs are 50+, 72 being the highest. Downside to that is being /broke.
In a sense it's a good thing that this game is (was?) so anti-solo, otherwise I'd have been more tempted to level up all of the flavor of the month jobs.
As for Blue Mage... I plan on leveling it as high as Nanako can take me
nvm. Just havent seen you in ages. Thought you tripped up the steps and didnt wake up or something.
I've gone missing but I'm back now :D
Back on topic, I've always been BLM but leveling different jobs on my way to 75 was always a fresh feelings, going to be taking NIN to 75 next hopefully...
