Carbuncle Server and Me

I didnt post this on the Carbuncle server forums since they are pretty much dead.

I am coming back to FFXI after a long stint in the other games and i was hoping to have people to play with. I just did pickup groups till this far and would rather play with a known set of people rather than logging in with no real goal lol =)

My character is a 30whm which i plan on levelling up as much as i can with my secondary being my 14 paladin job. If anyone has room for a person like this let me know =)

Since there are no real guilds in FFXI i think that is what has caused me the most problems compared to other games.

help a noob out =)

Linkshells, they are the basic equivalent of a guild in FFXI. Just that you get to be in upto 10 linkshells (guilds), or if a linkshell is diverse enough they'll split their linkshells functions. 1 LS pearl for general, 1 for Missions, 1 for Quests/BCNM/NMs, 1 for HNM. Again all depends though but Linkshells are the equivalent of guilds here.

Ok gotcha, i read about the HCNM linkshells and i always thought of them as something else =)

Anyone have any suggestions on how to find people easily to play with?

Also... lol.... uh.... where do i got at 30 for whm, i know valk for 14 pal but i havent played my whm in a year so i am lost =)
