I would like to extend out a prayer to those of the FFXI family as well as all the others that were affected by the Hurricane that hit in Louisiana and the close by states. May The Lord bring comfort to those who were affected. May He lift up those that are able to help and give them strength and endurance in the oncoming days.
Oh blessed and might father, I pray this prayer in the name of your son, Christ Jesus, Amen.

I would like to suggest to those who are able, even those of differing faiths, please supplicate for these people. m(_ _)m

Don't know much on the event that happened but i heard about the chance it would hit as it was going straight towards the state at 1 point. good luck to all families affected by the hurricane, from all the people in england

They said the flooding is still getting worse b/c the levies are starting to break. Probably be a month or two before things even begin to get back to liveable. Hope ppl can get back to something resembling a normal life after this. Godspeed.

I hope everybody can quickly recover from this but it may take a while. I live in Cape Coral Florida and that thing was originaly aimed right for me! Luckily it went south and missed us but that just helped to make it stronger. Good luck to everyone affected and a speedy recovery.

This will take years before they can recover, it truly is horrific. To people that can, donations to the Red Cross would be greatly appreciated I'm sure. They were down there the first day trying to get meals to people stranded by the storm.

one of the oldest cities in the western hemisphere is being destroyed - this will affect gas, food, cotton, many industries, and will affect the economy of the US and the world. and that doesn't compare to the human tragedy: hundreds of thousands of people are homeless and jobless. could be thousands dead.

if you can spare even $5 please send to http://www.redcross.org/ they deal with disaster relief every day of the year, they will spend the money in the best way possible.

lots of people die in other places around the world (recently from the tidal wave in indonesia, racial war in darfur and rwanda) and that's a little harder to grasp, and harder to do something to fix it. this is really easy and you should do something if you can.
