Well, I'm from Baton Rouge, Louisiana

It's not too bad here. There was like 3 trees that fell down at my house and power still hasn't been restored, but that's about the geist of it. I think they said that at Sept 3 power would be restored in all of Baton Rouge. (I'm online from the library and thank god my workplace has power)

Yeah N.O has the worst of it all. Flooding, Looting, Gangs, Water Contaimination...etc. Last I heard there were riots at the River Center (sp? I haven't been there in a while) or in the downtown area. I heard that they were transporting the people from the Superdome to Texas and I heard some stuff about shooting at officers (Seriously, wtf? They're trying to save people and their getting shoot)

Anyways, good luck to everyone else out there.

I am extremely lucky, I too live in Tallahassee FL and we were originally in its path, until it took a slower turn.

Looting for food and necessities is ok, but did you really need the tv and stereo?

I have just found out that Hurricane Rita is a category 5 hurricane, also directy at Louisiana, I hope that all those there know that they should get out and what not. . .
