    Perhaps it may be a good compromise to focus the different Dynamis according to what you are trying to do. Sandy, Bastok, & Windurst may be AF2 focused where as Xarcabard & others are currency focused. This would also allow S-E to introduce another Dynamis or two with a different focus altogether, providing end-gamers more choices and allowing them to play more intelligently.
    4 out of 3 people have a problem with fractions. . .

      Grunion, you strike up an interesting topic. I'm curious as I have an idea, but you say someone on our server gets Dynamis money handed to him/her?Who is this person, how do you know who it is, and do you consider it a hand-me-down, and feel they should work harder for it or something?

      I too, have been thinking lately of getting into the Dynamis habit again. Not only for some challenges, but to upgrade a relic weapon, and frankly I'd like to know how hard I'll be busting my ass to get it. I figured since some on the server are upgrading relics fairly quick, I was pondering if they had the golden spoon fed to them, or if currency dropped so often, that those people just got lucky on all their lots.

      I haven't done Dynamis since PV old Dynamis shell was around, but I need to for those two reasons listed above. This games missions are to easy imo, so I need a new challenge. Also your opinions on the questions i made above would be appreciated.

      Man Lower Promyvion can't come soon enough. I need some new challenges.

        I am not disagreeing that these weapons should be hard to get and take time activate. I do think there should be time and work involved with them. What I do not agree with is paying for a game that is meant to be open and a challenge for me to complete and then discovering that I am totally cut off from obtaining things in this game based on the system that is established.

        Before I was even close to 75 on my first job, I came to understand and accept that I would probably never see certain HNM fights or participate in them due to the dominate and competitive nature of LSs. I accepted that I would never see certain items due to this. But when you start think about all the things you cannot obtain, that starts to bother me.

        Before you jump on me, I am not one of these *OMG I pay for this game so gimme what I want or Ill quit* people.

        I do think it is unreasonable that I have spent over 2 years on this game, with two jobs at 75 and only in the past 6-8 months am I in a position where I could obtain Dynamis money, and would have to spend at least another year or more on upgrading a single weapon.

        So my opinion, SE should do one or more of these:
        Increase the amount of Dynamis money dropped.
        Decrease the cost to upgrade.
        Have a level 75 weekly quest that allows you to obtain a small amount of Dynamis money.

        Hell, they practically GIVE out exp these days.

          Wouldnt be nearly as hard if people didnt jack the prices up. Currency use to be like 6-10k per single and I remember seeing 100 currency go for as low as 800-1mil. I had a 100 bill in my Bazaar for 900k for 2 weeks before I just gave it to my friend.

            if people pay those prices you can't blame the seller. blame the buyer. or really, blame the market (s-e) for creating scarcity.

              What's the point of making them easier to obtain? So, that eventually everyone and their mom can be running around with fully upgraded relic weapons? No, I think it is just fine the way it is (though I personally will not even attempt this "quest") because at least now how it stands when someone completes one of these weapons it is considered a big deal (at least in game, I mean no one gives a shit in real life). Hey, why we are at it why not make the Maat Cap quest easier too so that everyone can get one of those, or hey, how about the Ebisu rod quest, SE should make that easier too right? I don't disagree that this quest is damn near impossible for the average player, but that is the whole point. To finish this quest and get your fully upgraded relic weapon is to say, "I am not your average player."

                Part of the problem is inflation is so bad. I main thing this is the gil sellers fault they generate so much gil in the game that no matter how much gil you save up its always losing vaule.

                  I do think they will make more currency, but that could be who knows how far down the road. the fact is they have to rebalance everything as they make things easier, IE they have made it easier to get to 75, hence you increase the number of people who can go to dyanmis, and have increased the demand. fact is when dynamis first started money was 1-5k per. its now 20k.
                  Also as they improve and add to teh game, the relic weapons become less "super" since the release of xarcabard they have had quite a few new weapons and teh leetness of the relic gets lower. If they add new weaponskills, as they just might, the value will decrease even more, (likely to happen i think when you consider cosmic elucidation skillchain effect)
                  this being said, who knows when theyll get around to it. IMO teh problem with this quest is not simply the difficulty or the time, but essentially you need at least 37ish people to give you everything in order to realistically obtain it over the course of a year or so, with only the 3rd and 4rth tiers having any use at all. And teh new WS dont even have a new animation, ho hum. Really it needs rebalancing, and it probably will be eventually, but by that time there will be compareable stuff, at least vs time and cost of obtaining it.
