as of right now most dynamis runs usually get an average of 200 currency (probably less). i'll hazard a guess that there's 20 dynamis LS on my server. most of them go twice a week.
that's 200 * 20 * 2 per week: 8000 per week for the whole server.
relic weapons cost about 500 + 1500 + 6000 + 7000 to attain: 15,000 (75 runs of 200 each)
so every 2 weeks 1 person could get enough currency. however most currency is scattered all over the server, 5 here, 200 there. i only know 1 person that has a lot on our server, and that's because his LS pretty much gave him all the currency from every run for over a year.
everyone is trying to upgrade, so everyone holds onto currency in small amounts. the price has climbed to 12k, to 14k, to 16k, to 20k per piece (2M for 100x). i don't think at this point it will be possible for anyone to get 15,000 currency without the entire efforts of a linkshell going to that one person for a long time (9 months). as time goes on, currency will only become more scarce as more people learn about relic weapons and start collecting currency.
so the way i see it, either we will not see many more relic weapons besides the 1-2 per server that people have, or they have to add ways to get more currency.
seeing how they have gradually nerfed stuff that some people complained was "too hard" (mainly thinking of some of the COP missions), my bet is they will eventually nerf dynamis currency too.
one way they might do this is the dynamis zones that are in the game but not unlocked: dynamis Valkurm, Buburima, Qufim, Tavnazia. they might be level 65+ like the existing dynamis areas, but seeing how 3 of them are for low level players it's reasonable to assume they will have lower level caps.
if those areas drop currency at the same rate, and only allow 2 runs per week, that might double or treble the currency income on each server.
what if you could do both the high level ones AND low level ones twice a week? i guess it depends on the other drops for these areas.
i'm just curious if anyone else cares to speculate on the possibility about (a) S-E nerfing currency, (b) the unopened dynamis zones.
