New Game Experience with other Music

okay im not really into .dat changing stuff cause i dont think its usefull since your the only one who sees it..but dontyou guys who change theyre battle music think that the game experience is so diffrent when you change the music?

i freshed my game up with the Unlimited saga battle theme for solo and the unlimited saga EX battle them for partys...it rocks an gives me a new game experience

what songs do you use?

(sry somethings up with my eyes i can barely see anything :S i think ill lay down ..laters)

The fact you would touch anything related to Unlimited Saga scares me!... ok I guess the music in the game was top notch.................................... but I don't think I want to listen to anything to remind me of my good ol beer coaster of a dvd.

no really..those songs are awesome..i love the battle music ill try to upload it and post the ones i use.


(THe battle songs from Saga Frontier II also were HOT! like one of the best i ever heared but i cant find it anymore:S)

I'm using a bunch of music from Romancing SaGa Minstrel Song. Also threw in some music from FFX-2 and Matrix Revolutions.

I don't change FFXI's music, but I did go through all my Game OSTs and found music for each area that normally doesn't have it. I then turn it on and off through WinAmp hotkeys. It's very cool having unique music for every zone. ^^

I changed around the game music alot. Infact, virtually all of it. A while back, a member posted an entire overhaul of the in-game music, which can be found somewhere now in the Fanworks section. I tweaked it a bit with songs that fit the area a little more appropriately.

It was quite a thing to behold.

A word of advice , however. Don't add actual songs you'd here from an artist such as a Rock or Pop band. I got so sick of the party battle music after I experimented with Iced Earth.

I changed almost all of my songs. Using songs from games like Soul Calibur, Saga Frontier, DMC3 (used Vergil 3 music), Chrono Trigger, etc.

My friend who is amazing at making music made me couple of original songs for me to use as well.
