City controls Argoneu/Zulkheim? Where do I check?(Confused about Region Info/Supply)

How can I check what cities have control over these things? I need to do the La Theine/Millioncorn quest in Selbina to raise fame, and im from SanDoria and I need to know what we have control of. No idea how to see this. Thanks!

Whichever city has control over the region at the time has the NPC that will sell the items. So go to your region map and see which icon it show for the region (San'dOria, Bastok, Windurst, or a grey circle-no one controls it).

One of the first things I do when I first login is to type /rmap. Especially after Sunday Morning PST because that is around when it is updated every week.

Confused about Region Info/Supply Quest

Hey all, so heres the directions to the LaTheine cabbage/Millioncord quest I have:

1: Go to Sandoria (or Bastok if they have control of Argoneu)
2: Buy La Theine Cabbage (or Millioncorn if the city you're in has control of Argoneu), as much as you can carry
3: If your city is not windhurst and has control of Zulkheim and you still don't have the teleport to the outpost there get the supply mission from one of the gate guards.
4: Jumpo on a chocobo and ride to Selbina
5: go to the old npc in front of the sheeps and give him all of your cabbage and millioncorn (he'll take 5 cabbage or 3 millioncorn at a time, he'll pay 100 gils for cabbage and 120 for millioncorn)
6: Go out of selbina and to the outpost, end your supply mission if you still didn't and teleport back to your home city (if you're from windhurst or from bastok when bastok doesn't have argoneu, you'll have to walk to the nearest crag and take a chocobo there)
7: repeat until your fame is maxed. (it toopk about 3 hours and 3000 gils for me, but was worth it)


Now I checked the region info and it says Bastok has control of both regions. now does that mean that I need to buy the Millioncord from bastok and travel to Selbina and back to Bastok etc. over and over? can I go to outpost and travel back? Im from Sandoria. Sort of confused about those directions and the whole region info. thanks!

first, you need to be level 20 to use the outpost warp in Valkurm. if you meet that requirement, then the outpost teleporter will warp you back to your home country (sandoria) provided you have previously done an outpost supply run to Zulkiem. If you haven't and bastok controls zulkiem, then you are out of luck and can't use the teleport to get back (you are going to have to run back).

so I just still buy either Millioncorn or Cabbage in SanDoria then choco to Selbina, trade items, then run back to SanDoria and repeat? Or do i have to start the quest in Bastok and go from Bastok to Selbina?

if bastok controls Argoneu, then millcorn will only be available in Bastok so yes, you need to start in Bastok. Same thing applies to the cabbage.

However, if Sandoria is in 1st place, then millcorn will be available (iirc) in Sandy too. So you can start in Sandy if you decide to go the millcorn route.

Be advised that there is a grocery store in San d'Oria that sells La Thiene Cabbage at all times, regardless of Conquest status.
