  • Wyvern healing breath work for NPC?

    A few days ago i tried to solo with my NPC with me as a 26DRG 13 WAR NPC as shield, well we took down a VT mandy in kazham for 200 exp. well i was left with about 150 or more hp, my npc had about the same, a little less mabey. well i decided to try RDM sub and use healing breath to Cure NPC. well we faced a IT mandy (stupid i know but no other VT or below left or i couldnt find them), and we were fighting it, well when she had a LOT lower hp than 1/3 i cast dia on mandy and azure never used Healing breath, i tried casting a cure on NPC where she still had less than 1/3 and Azure still never used it, well NPC died and i zoned in time to live but i was a little mad. So it turns out HB doesnt work on NPC, or atleast not for me. If any of you have tried this and it worked tell me what i did wrong, if it didnt work, then that sux cause they kick ass to "solo"
    with, lol.

    As far as I know, you're the only person who can cast on your NPC. Other PCs, party members, and pets cannot.

      Other ppl can cast on npcs in your pt. The whm in my npc spt does all the time. But certain spells cannot be cast like refresh, regen, etc. It could simply be your wyvern doesn't see your npc as being partied with you.

        Fastcart is correct. I static with him and I can cure his npc just fine. But I can not use erase, regen, or -na spells on them. A total pain in the arse too since we were fighting tigers and paralyze was landing every time on the npcs. ; ;

          i knew you couldnt you use those spells but i figured you could use HB cause its considered a kind of cure spell, but guess not.

            I've stated before, but prolly the only way to make it work would be to have the wyvern use hb on you while you and your npc are in the line of fire.

            But, I dunno how hb activates so i dunno how feasible this is.

              Re: Wyvern healing breath work for NPC?

              The ability Healing Breath can ONLY be used on Party Members. In the update information when NPCs were released, they mentioned that Party ONLY spells and abilities CANNOT be cast or used on NPCs. This would classify Healing Breath as one of those abilities that can't be used on NPCs as its a Party only ability.
