      Dancing would be stupid. Simple as that. It doesn't matter what style of dancing it would be. My blacklist would explode if it was ever actually implemented.

      They need some Melee enchancement. Especially in the " Effective against X Family" depart. Where as Dragoons would be sought after for taking down Vrtra, Nidhogg, Tiamat, etc. And Samurai would be able to solo in Castle Vhalz .

        That's a dope ass idea. I want that. That would make things so handy. But I think WHM should get it as well. Since they do have all the status removal spells naturally. That's one of the best ideas I've heard in a really long time.

          DRG jumps could be 100%. DRG sub could be 50%. That would help a lot.

            Some of my complaints about FFXI are about the jobs. I know dragoons love their wyverns, but I think the Dragoon class would be 1000x better if they tooky away the wyverns and gave them more, and more powerful jump techniques. Remember Kain? He didn't have a wyvern, and he could jump every turn. How bad ass was he, right?

            I'd also like it if blink tanking by ninjas was completely done away with, but maybe I just say that because I'm a paladin.

            Also, I know it's been done to death and would be a bitch to set up, but I would love to see a blue mage class.

            Back on other topics: I'd change the time progression. Time goes too fast in Vana'diel. I wanted to work out a formula to figure out how big North Gustaberg was the other day by taking how long it took me to run across it divided by about 5mph, but since I took about 3 steps per minute, it screwed up my formula. Perhaps have the time speed reduced to 6x or 4x or something? I don't like seeing the days flash before my eyes.

            And finally, just as a convenience factor, nothing SE can really do about it.. I want more people to use the starting city auction houses. It would be nice if I could shop around if stuff is too expensive in Jeuno. Maybe head to Bastok to pick up my new shield. I don't know.

              Actually, why not just turn PLDs in shitty WHMs who can buff defense with a crappy ability and stun every 5 mins, and give NINs the ability to cure themselves and flash...? Oh that wouldn't float your boat now would it?

              I don't know why SE doesnt make DRG's wyverns unkillable or targetable by melee damage.

                It's funny, I didn't say "Please critique my post while being a douche bag." at the end.. Hrm.

                I put that because do you remember another Final Fantasy game where the ninja was the one protecting everybody? I'm sure that SE never intended Ninjas to be tanks, but people always being innovative found a way to do it. At least they're getting nerfed to show you their intentions.

                    RDMs were never intended to refresh and 5 black mages were never intented to party together and own everything. RNGs were never intended to replace melee. How many people do you think SE would be upseting if ruined NIN. Infact, i'd hate it because there are some mobs in the game that PLD simply can't tank at all. SE likes the idea of NIN tanks, they've even built some battles around it.

                      Why would you wanna get rid of ninjas tanking? With just paladin being the only class that can tank in the whole game there wouldn't be many exp parties now would there? I rarely see paladins my level looking for a party, so people would be angered and complain about their not being enough tanks. SE didn't change ninja's tanking much, just made it so they're not the ultimate tanks.

                        Well, weren't NINs originally supposed to be DDs?

                        Now, I like having NIN as a tank, but if they were to put a stop to Blink Tanking, NINs could become what S-E tried to make them from the start.

                          nins were originally supposed to be puller/dds like thf or rng, and the perfect SaTa partners for thfs and other tanks. and, rdm was supposed to be a tank. hard to believe at first, but phalanx, refresh, blink, stoneskin, similar weapons to a pld, they do with magic what a pld does with might, at least, they could. i think a lot of classes could have done other things, maybe se wanted them to, but people do. bards were probably intended to melee, they have access to a lot of melee gear. if you look at the off side of most jobs, a lot of them have a double side that, if you think about it, might have been a different intention by se. pld/war and maybe rdm were supposed to tank, rng/nin and maybe thf were supposed to pull, and so on.

                            I've actually had a Lv 70 RDM/WAR tank spiders in Dragon's Aery using a lot of defense+ equip and using enfeebling spells to keep hate. Surprisingly it worked really well, the RDM took virtually no damgae and even when she did, the WHM didn't have to heal her cuz she healed herself after she put her buffs back up. Self-hasting tank...how awesome is that.

                                It'd be no harder or intencive than playing 30 people's run animation, or 30 people's idle animation. Animation files are relativly small, much, much less than something like a texture or a sound effect.

                                Of course they were, why do you think they have the spell? That's like saying WHMs were never meant to Cure. RDMs are support mages. Refresh is a support spell.
