Undercutting = item off the market faster = more gil for you faster and more gil now is better than more gil later unless its an obscene ammount. Its how a market should run.

I meant people who undercut themselves. I've seen people with multiple of the same item on the AH, and they litterally undercut themselves down 50k over three transactions. I've seen it happen when somebody had the only items up. It's rediculous. =/
