I like the way the mornings feel in W. Ron. When the sun comes up at 6:00 game time - it feels, looks and smells like 6:00 am! And the sunsets in La Theine are fabulous at times.

Love:
roleplay and interacting with other players, they usually "tune in" fairly fast, and soon we're truly immersed in the fabled world of adventures that Vanadiel is

Hate:
Gilfarmers, gilsellers, gilbuyers, and bots of all kinds. They not only ruin the echonomy (well, they allready have!) but they also make two realities happen:
- Other players pick up on the rush towards greater gear, and become blind to the fun in the game
- The game itself becomes so impossible as a result of inflation and item-focus that the fun is replaced by a drive of competition - one looses fellowship, and instead become brute, un-inspiring, and striving to become "l33t"; "That guy is awesome, he's got blabla gear, and can do soo much that I can't do"

This is every mmo's ruin in my opinion. I'll keep playing, as long as the game does not become numbed and one-minded, as was the case with Everquest. When I can no longer enter a new area of exploration, without meeting every frantic thief in the game stealing far too easy mobs for them, in order to get insane amounts of gil that I myself could only dream of getting, when the game is ultimately turned into a LS war of the HNM spawns, well, for me, it'll be the time to move on, and right now, that time is not too far away.

The people I brought onto Pandemonium and see them advance quickly in the game. I also like the never-ending challenge I now get while trying to keep hate from 100+ SATA Spinning Slash WS's.

I've always found Paladins to be the unsung heroes in Final Fantasy XI. We take the abuse and risk it all going against the toughest mobs just to hear everyone say "ZOMG, I GOT A LOT OF EXP FROM NIN TANK PT!" Do I regret going with Paladin over Ninja or Warrior? Not a chance.

but my fav thing about FFXI is the people in meh LS there cool ppl ( a ls that does stuff)
trust me i been in alot of " chat Ls and never get anythin done"

What I love:
Buying a Cache-nez ( Hide your nose...? ) for about 3k. Then turning around and selling it for 600k. Muahahahaha.

What I don't love:
Continuous leveling spots.
No more "adventure"
High Level Player Drama ( Cocky s.o.b.s suits them well )

The sheer numbers of things to do, coupled with bi monthly updates.

Most important is teamwork, making friends, having fun.

next best thing I play this game for is the kick butt storyline. What is Final Fantasy without a storyline?
