In a way I kind of find this so morally wrong. SE spends so much time trying to make these tidbit for people to explore and find in-game and instead they have to circumvent it just because "they don't wana". That's just seems so incredibly rude of an act to do.

Agreed, Macht. I don't know what conditions you have to satisfy to hear the song, but I'm sure it takes some work. Rewarding players by allowing them to hear a beautiful new composition by Uematsu with vocals by someone as incredible as Izumi Masuda is a wonderful thing for SE to do, yet another gesture that separates FFXI from other games.
Why not uncover this treasure in the way it was meant to be?

Hmm - let's see - I've spent around 800k on Promyvion ... I have 38 failed Prom-Holla, and 16 failed Prom-Dem ... Did finish Mea on first run though ... Do I wanna use my time playing FFXI on more Promys? NO! ... I finished Ziraat and from that I got Sky and the 6 Angel BCNM aerring choices ... well, I think it's just meh that I should fail more trying to get to hear a song?!
If SE's efforts to do all they had to setup hearing the song as well as the composers work and the singers work means that little to you then why are you even bothering to try and listen to just a song?
At least pay some respect to the people who put in this effort by finding how to listen to the song properly in the game.

I'm gona listen to it on a vid someone made becase I'v been without FFXI for the past 2 months and I got 2 more weeks till I can get back on (kinda going through withdrall atm ;
Watching the movie with the spoilers is no different to me then reading the last few pages of a book, I'll know how it ends but the ending is not important, it's how you get there that matters.
So even if I could watch every CS leading up to it I would still play it ingame also because there is nothing like getting stuck on a really hard BC and after different stragitys and spending more gill then you care to count, when you finaly finish it with a group of friends you get a fealing that words cant discribe.
No Ifs Ands or Buts about it.

1. The music is written to go along with a specific part of the game, and the composer of the music usually wishes the two to be experienced together.
2. The music is actually copyright Square Enix, so it is subject to standard copyright laws. Not only that, but they may be thinking about releasing it as a CD single or part of an album.
