    omg I joined gilseller BC party

    I have to say I'm not very familiar with gilsellers in my own server because I haven't hunted any HNM or popular NMs at all with my new characters. So today, I saw shouts (in perfect english) looking for a BLM going to scorpion BC. Never have losted here before I log onto my GF's BLM and go with them. Names are Resurrectionang, Affective, Resumption, Beutifulangel, Blackenning. BLM(me) BLM WHM NIN THF MNK

    I just noticed on the way to the BC they were using broken english and run the long way on chocobo instead of escaping from the mines. Well ok. THF traded the orb, no random or anything. We went in. And the disaster began...

    I started with seal+sleepga2.
    Mnk ran in attack a scorpion on the left. Nin ran in attack the scorpion on the right. Thf attack another one. Holy shit 5 seconds into the fight MNK then use his 2hr follow by the WHM casting DIAGA!!

    no question from there... no scorpions ever sleep ever again. Whm then 2hr, thf 2hr, everyone and the scorpions ran all over the place.

    We then all died and the Whm didn't even have reraise. The leader then tried to lecture me I had to cast sleepga2. woo I'm being taught.

    I talked to my friend and they recognize these names right away as gilsellers.

    Just to share my experience... anyone who think gilsellers can invade our BC drop price, I don't think we have to worry... for now.

    And now we're all laying dead.... here's the conversation.... Pathong is my GF's BLM I am using.

    !! AHAHAHA! Oh man, I feel sorry for you Jei, I really do, but that's just damn funny XD I don't know why, but I get this strange warm fuzzy feeling from knowing my assumptions about how blatantly stupid gilsellers are was, in fact, correct. But don't worry, all the gilsellers I know of act just as dumb, so we're all in the same boat :3 Find out who the gilsellers are on your server and avoid them at all costs =\

      ok second run

      We still died but managed to take 4 down

      this time, WHM had reraise. But while we were still dead inside BC, he raised himself up and got killed...

      At this point I HP back, say thanks and bye and log back into my RDM.

      I'm sure will remember their names forever :p

        Ahhhhh at least you had the foresight not to use Jaza XD

        But ty, now we know that the only ppl who'll be selling gil from BCNMs are the asshats who sell gil to the companies for cash; ; More often than not, they are HL players with a vendetta against their entire servers so. . . >.>

          Sadly, not all gilsellers are this clueless. The gilseller LS on Midgardsormr (Wuqi) has all their melee members decked out in Scorpion Harness, and I don't think they bought those.

              When my group went to do a uncapped KS battle there were a group of known gil sellers there. They would usually go in right before we did. After we successfully completed, we would make our way back for another run. After zoning in, there the group of gil sellers would be, dead on the ground or partially raised. This happened for 5 out of our 6 fights, they did complete one successfully. Our pt members were getting a kick out of it and I ignored any requests for raises.

                Yeah, cause gil sellers love to have high level bonecrafting with the sub crafts leveled...They bought it Icemage. I doubt anyone would be stupid enough to craft something for a gil seller. If they make synthesis requests to me I take their stuff, log out, and go play my alternate character and keep their stuff. Most people have done the same thing, I've seen them asking for Noble's Tunic once and the person keeps their Shining Cloth and I've seen it done multiple times with Venomous Claw so I'm sure no one crafted it for them. What'd be funny is SIGNING a Scorpion Harness for them and then everyone MPKs you for life xD.

                I never do BCNMs with anyone who can't spare time for punctuation unless they're JP. Why? Well they're either going to be a gil seller or a younger player (think age group 10-15). In the latter, this group has also proven to me their incompetency and I don't do stuff with them, either.

                I'll tell ya what though, if I do BCNM with them, Ill let them sleepga and I'll be the one to cast Diaga (followed by running to zone out). Let them all die...suck on a fast track to Home Point...

                    lol Jei.

                    back on Asura, there were a select few who would actually walk gilsellers through BCNMs, optical hat, etc. in exchange for the gil. :magmad:

                      Agreed. Refusing to craft for them is enough, stealing is appalling.

                        Not everyone is concious of who is or is not a gilseller. I certainly have no idea.

                        At any rate, isn't that kind of reaction extreme? That's like slashing the tires on an SUV because gas prices are going up. Their behavior is irresponsible, sure, but you just mugged someone for an item they worked hard for because the cumulative actions of their peers are making your life a little harder. Even if they griefed you personally, that's not the right way to strike back.

                            Makes you wonder if SE changed their EULA (fraud and lying is against the TOS now) to protect the gilsellers rather than us common folks.

                              Or maybe to protect people in general? They aren't the only ones being ripped off, it's just that people gloat a little bit more when they've done something against the public's enemy #1.
