Summerfest party crashers

I logged on last and much to my glee, Summerfest was underway. I am always amazed that we get these events from time to time and enjoy them greatly. I realize after playing other morpgs that these are compliments of the development team and they put these on for the enjoyment of the players. Time and effort are put into these and they do a magnificent job!
But...I was saddened last night while enjoying the fireworks and music and dancing that certain shouts were emitted from folks who put down the event and said it was lame and how they hate the fireworks and all. Come on people - this is great stuff! Your shouts are a feeble atempt to make you look more mature or smarter than everyone else by saying you dont like the event. Its sad! Look through the eyes of a child once in awhile and enjoy life!
Way to go SE for your creativity! Thank you! Keep it up!

It's a nice event and all, but not really my thing. A lot of people want events where you actually have to do something, like the new years events or last years Summerfest. Also the fact that you have to rely on crafters to make you an important piece of this events prize (the fish bowls) is kinda upsetting. Sitting in Jeuno browsing the AH last night I saw a /sh advertising a Salt Water Fish tank for 1.5 mil. Most people won't be able to get these tanks during the event, but will have the sets that go in the tanks. With no real rewards discovered so far, I plan on ignoring this event for the most part, unless some unique reward is found I'd rather save my time and money.

Where are the dancing tarutaru's at? I've been in hiding (Rabao, Western Altep Desert, Yhoator Jungle etc.)

main cities, in the center of each city. N Sandy Square, Bastok Markets foutain and not sure of the Windy one.

I think its the S-E that ruined the event.
But I don't mean its bad, its really cool, wait it is my favourite event from all S-E - I just like it too much and I was happy today morning when I saw its the same like last years. Well ALMOST the same. Because S-E took something that gave soo much fun last year. Dungeon exploring ! Now all you do to get the Yukatas is buy them ; ; Last year exploring was so fun and exciting!
But I heard that S-E trying to drain all the gil that came in game from gilbuying by insisting more gil usage, duh well...

I've heard that people have been finding dialogue for an event with FFXITool, but i've been too lazy to look myself.

To the people who enjoy the event, good for them. This is a fun event for those who want to do it. Not everyone will like every event though, I personally am not a fan of fire works and the night time music for example. But those people who go around /sh-ing that an event sucks should just be ignored. The only real problem I have with this event so far is the fact that you need a high lvl crafter and a brand new, very rare item to get the best prizes. If all that was needed to get a fish tank was gold fish scoopin, I'd do the event too. I can understand the beastmen's hats being hard to come by cause they're used at a much higher lvl, but event items should be accessable to all people.

And my favorite events so far were the new years events with the Goblin riders, the Halloween event with the monster costumes and the Samurai event when you had to chase down the Samurai armors at lvl 1 with a wooden stick. I prolly woulda love the treant event two years ago, but I've only been playin a yeah and a half =/

/Agree's Muhahahaha..orz.

But seriuously, The only tiem I now BList folks is during events, they sem to really get annoyed at anything that involves Fun and socializing.
I met like three Future LS members at these events. They are fun to me. leveling up is fun to others. I just wish Those(the immature shouters, not all Hnm'ers) who want to just Hunt HNM, level and Bash others would stop and just go abut their business.

im glad we get the summerfest. it breaks up the same day> night > day > night routine. as for quests so far there isnt anything that interests me. the bst helmets look cool. but the sad part is you have to depend on high lvl crafters to make it for you. an if that didnt suck, you actually have to be 61+ to wear some of them. thus it almost seems the game has some what eliminated mules from having fun as well. =(
