Do you have to get the emptiness message from the NPC before you can go into Promyvion and do the stuff? Also do I have to do the 3 promyvions (Not counting Vazhl) or just one?

I did have another question...

Seeing as they don't appear under you as a "Party Member," do they obtain the same amount of MP as if they were soloing? Or is it dependant on what you're making?

Example. If a buddy of mine decided to take me and his 75th lvl up the top of Delkfutts, I know I wouldn't gain much, if any XP, but would my npc?

Npcs get their xp independent of you.

I figured it out. You must do the quest that Angelica gives you before you can accept the quest from Diederik.

I completed the quest from Angelica months ago and I still can't receive the LB1 quest in Selbina. Something else you did must have unlocked it. Any other ideas?

ps: When I talk to Diederik he says that he's waiting on a painting from Angelica. I tried trading him the painting she gave me (man was I happy I kept that) but still no luck.

I'm thinking you probably have to complete that Promyvion side quest before you can trigger the rest of Genkai.

And in response to what someone else said, you only have to go to a basic Promyvion. I'm pretty sure it does not matter which.

I was able to accept the Diederik quest w/o doing the promyvion npc quest but the other two in my npc spt weren't. We all have our npcs like 1 tnl. It could be fame based as in you need high selbina fame?

I've tried a Plantbane, Moth Axe, a Voulge, a Heavy Axe, and a Military Axe so far for greataxe. None of them have worked but it's annoying having to keep buying 30k+ gaxes that rarely sell to try. Kobun, is there any chance you can translate that? I'm hoping to maybe extrapolate which I'm going to need.

Edit: wishful thinking but I tried Huge Moth Axe and Raifu, neither of those worked either.

Edit2: at this point I'm thinking its the platoon axe but there's hardly ever any for sale so I can't test it.

Edit3: I've tried just about every greataxe from 12-42 and none of them worked. I even tried a retrograde in the Inferno Axe. I'm thinking about having a Kheten made but that seems way too high for the next upgrade.

Some possible requirements for the 55 cap quest that I've heard thown about:
1 TNL on your npc
Complete "A pose by any other name" in Windurst Waters with Angelica
Completing the quest "Past Reflections" from Luto (ok so this may be obvious, who cares lol)

My fame is Hero status in all cities, NPC has been 1TNL for awhile now, completed "A pose by any other name" over a year ago and completed "Past Reflections".

I have not done the Promy quest because that hasn't triggered yet either.

My guess from information I've gathered from people who can and can't get it to work... you need to call your NPC at least 3 times after completing 'Reflections before the other quests can be triggered.

I've called twice so by tomorrow I should know if this is the solution or not.

Haha how I feel you pain. I myself have also tried every GAX I could think of and Tsuim would take none...I'm thinkin maybe SE screwed up somewhere and needs to patch it so we can upgrade the weapons...Or maybe we need a higher level to get a higher level weapon.

Ok the weapon list has been fully updated. Erm, I do not know the name of the weapon in english but i think you can base it off the lvl of the weapon itself.

For GAxe, if I read the Katakana right, it seem to be Hydro Axe, have you try it?

I only called my npc twice and i could get the Selbina (Picture Perfect) quest. So you don't need to calll it three times.

I've gotten the blighted gloom quest lol, but now i have a bit of a problem... finding a clear spring O.o

No idea how I got this quest started, but I feel I'm going to be wandering an awful lot.


Correction: Quest complete! whew that was annoying lol. No mention of anything gained at the end of the quest. Now to wait for the next quest in the procession to activate for me.
