Cant pop it in sky or sea. Cant in dungeons, and I bet you cant on boats.

Why should you be able to pop your NPC in Sky/Sea? Do you remember taking him through the missions to get access?

What do you expect?
I think you'll have a hard time outvoking them too... the hate 挑発 creates is sky high but drops quickly, so if you use it, then your NPC uses it a few seconds later, the mob will still go to her. Besides, not much point in fighting such mobs as far as the NPC's concerned. Wait till the NPC is lv55-60

Not being able to call them in dungeons sucks, but I guess they might change it later. At least I've noticed they don't seem to aggro anything so you can walk around with them without much problem.

well they are only level 30 so if I get my first hit before they voke, they won't get attack at all >.> I'm sure my voke will be more than enough to keep hate hehe. Just a safeguard at the beginning.

Attacker Style has Double Attack, I've verified this tonight.

I honestly am beginning to think that Weapons only change with character level, but Armor changes with the type of mobs you exp on. Still not quite sure on that though.

It seems if you click them, they'll say something to the effect of "are we finished?" and after awhile satrt to walk away.. but if you hurry and click again, they'll say something like "Not Done yet?, Great I'm ready for more!"

Well I just used my NPC tonight for the first time. I lvld her in rolanberry and afer 1 exp session she has on the lv 40 plate armor (hands and feet).
If anyone else with this armor type lvld in the same area....?

i spent a long time in port bastok (where the rendevous point is supposed to be) but couldnt find it.

Also yes, provoke is more than enough to hold hate down. The NPC hits for too weak damage. At level 50 I only lost hate to it once because I spent like 5 minutes trying to recast Utsusemi If I were in my 70s there would be no hate loss ever lol.

Ahh, thanks. I was tabbing all over the place but never saw it :/

BTW, leveling my NPC in Altep after we were done her Body armor changed to a Doublet and hands changed to lizard gloves. I did a lot of provoking and I tanked it all the time, so that might have affected it, and the location might have also, dunno. Just wanted to put that in.

As a Summoner I would of thought the Tanker would be best for me I solo Mandys in the jungle when I'm bored hehe. I use Fenrir as my mane attacker but theres nothing to tank. So I will have to wait and see how my npc turn out.
Also does anyone know how often you can change jobs?

Did my third EXP session with Yoli. She didn't level to 30, but she changed from scale to lizard armor for body and legs. Still wearing mithril arms and feet. I was able to unlock more jobs, but I'm disappointed she didn't level to 31. It doesn't seem like there's any definate way to to level here other than whenever the recast is up.
