It is unfortunate that you cannot change the weapon you upgraded your NPC to once you trade a weapon. I'd really like to give the knuckles a try =P

This was odd... my NPC left today after *14* kills... and I thought I had just miscounted ... but then someone else in my LS, who had a parser running, also said theirs left after 14. That seems odd.. anyone else run into that?

It's either 15 kills or the time limit expires (on the first page).

I've run into this as well. I think the parser doesn't recognize npc kills. When I opened the log in notepad, I counted 15 like it should be, including Amerita's.

You can change weapons anytime, just trade Luto another weapon from the upgrade level you're on.

My NPC is level 38. You think I don't know this by now? Come on ^^

And it took less than 30 minutes to get these 14 kills, and has happened twice to me and once to a friend. Also he gives the "I've met my quota message," not the "my time is up" message when he's done. Guess I should have been clearer so as to avoid people jumping to the conclusion that I'm a moron.

You haven't been throwing the pearl away right? Or not thinking that a monster pet won't count? because pets count as a kill too. Other then that...... I don't know mine has only increased in stats and time. Hear gear changes a lot suddenly dropped a lot, but oddly enough she seems to be extreemly fashionable in the foot wear. Much of it is stuff I've never seen but very nice looking footwear.

Just curious but what headgear has other players gotten that their NPC would wear? Mine is wearing what I know is a Corsage (It's the only equipment with that flower design on it).

Mine wears Faceguard. I can't get him to change it no matter what.

Both good ideas, but unfortunatly not the case. I haven't tossed my pearl since the update (tossed twice before the update that "decressed relations" -- and I can't rule that out as a possiblity but I think it unlikely). I'm waiting on the headgear cutscene/event from Luta .. I really should be near to that point, but since I haven't keep careful records of how often I've called Mugido, I'm not 100% .. but I'm still a little nervous that I haven't gotten it yet. NPC has never died, btw.

I'm waiting on the headgear cutscene/event from Luto .. I really should be near to that point, but since I haven't keep careful records of how often I've called Mugido, I'm not 100% .. but I'm still a little nervous that I haven't gotten it yet. NPC has never died, btw.

IIRC, you don't get headghear cutscene from Luto. It will be available for you when you talk to your NPC at Rendezvous Point, the "Let's talk about your appearance" one.

Slight Theory: I beleive that both the TYPE and Amount of damage effects the upgrades of your NPC Armor.

My grounds is based off my leveling of my NPC in Xacraband. There was a time when I summoned her, fought alot of bat-eyes and she got hit with alot of Ga-Magic. She ended up with the Trader's body.

My last time we fought more skeletons, and she got hit with ALOT of AoE Drains and Black Clouds... alsmot to the point where she died once. She is now wearing a level 40 heavy armor peice...

I'll keep tabs on armor changes based on what happens and what we fight.

Anyone managed to get anything after the headgear option yet? My NPC is almost level 46 but I lost track of the number of summons a long time ago. Just curious if anyone's gotten anything new.
