yeah will probably become usefull later not to mention each time you use them it leadds to something else like the weapons and different play styles.

Think of them as a computerized pet toy. You know? They are fun like that.

From first post...

14. It seems you can get a new pearl once a day (JP time). If you throw away your old pearl, you can still meet up with your buddy at Rendezvous point and the NPC will give you a new one, with it's time reset ready to use. If you ask for it again, the NPC will get angry and you will have to wait until after mid night JP time.

i think it's been 4 days now that I throw away my pearl everyday...
NPC only gives you new one once a day. If you want more, you have to wait until midnight JST

this game uses mostly japan time. Like the conquest which calculates at midnight of sunday JST as well.

I got the weapon cutscene after calling my NPC a 6th time, talking to her at the rendezvous point, and then going to Luto. I tried at the 5th and it wasn't giving it to me.

Cool stuff so far! One aspect I hope to look into a little bit more is if the NPCs only "level up" in the style/weapon they use when they are called, or across the board. For example, I'd hate to have the NPC skill up in sword only to find out later he'd be more useful with Sycthe; or for them to have zero skill as a shield because they've leveled up as an attacker.

I have never been able to get them to show up in the text lines. I can get them to show on screen dmg, but never in the text even with all filters open.

Zempten, the correct filters are the NPC ones. The are below the "others" and above the synthesis and fishing filter.

There's 2 relates options i think
Damage taken by foe
Attack by NPC
leave those off and I can see my Jajuju's attack.
