if you attack, they'll attack. if you sit, they sit too.... that's all i knowThere are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,

30 + 45 = 75

hmm? the npc doesn't level once per day. They seem to require just as much xp to level up as a playerThere are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,

Ok, after my second leveling session: Monsters killed: 12, Total Time: 24 minutes.
She provoked every 30 seconds which was nice, but Cerulean ended up tanking because I was skilling up my staff. She can take a few hits though which is nice. She spawned with all scale except with plate gloves. Now when I rendevous with her she appears wearing Mithril hand and feet pieces, and the rest scale. She's still level 30, still shield.
This time I /praise'd her after every kill, and /cheer'd her every once in a while to see if it would have any sort of effect. I got no response, and I'm not sure if it had an effect.
Some guy on his *third* day leveled it to 31, which opened up several more fighting styles. His post is in the Allakhazam main FFXI forums. Lucky bastard is one step ahead of most of us, but I look forward to tomorrow!!!Last edited by DakAttack; 07-21-2005, 04:12 AM.Comment

Ok so I went out to Yhot. Jungle as lvl 31 WHM/BLM
I pulled out the NPC and he stayed for a whooping 45 min!!!! Not 30 or 40 but 45!
We we're doing the usual chaining Mandys and pulling the occasional Goblin smithy.
We'll after the 42 min passed our thf left us so we sat for 3 more min trying to find a replacement when my NPC decided to leave. So there you have it 45 min is my record I have absolutely no clue how much exp we gained but we did at least 14+ fights.
