you can cross from rolanberry fields to battalia and from battalia to suromugue... and vice versa, you dont need to enter jeuno at all o.o

chocobo pre lvl 30 only lasts 15 mins

chocobo post lvl 30 lasts half an hour

chocobo gear gives 1 minute boost per piece i think, so 34 mins top? someone correct me on the gear cus im not sure

reward for going from sandy to bastok in under 5 game hours is a 1-use warp scroll to sandy

The record on cerberus from Windurst > Sandy is 29min and 2seconds.

I did 29mins and 14seconds... Blast!

How do you get from windy to either Bastok or Sandy without stopping and going through Jeuno?

Take the bridge from Battilia -> Rollanberry -> Sauromogue

It could be worth doing for the tickets to avoid spending 3k+ on chocobos.

Level 15-19 it is 15 mins. After obtaining the chocobo license at lvl 20, it is 30 minutes.

I traversed the San d'Oria -> Windurst course in 28 min. and some odd seconds (missed the record by 4 sec. ><; ) and was rewarded with a Page from Miratete's Memoir (aka EXP scroll!). So far the rewards I have heard of are: Gysahl Greens, Gate Glyphs (aka warp scrolls to city stables), Chocobo Tickets, and Mrt. Memoirs (aka EXP scroll).

Anyone know the name of the NPC at the Bastok stables? I spoke with each of them last night (not just the chocobo girls) and none of them offered me anything out of the ordinary.
