New Quest and Item Details (with Icons!)

The regular compilation of info for the FFXI patch is now out for today's patch. Info so far includes the 12 new quests added, and all the new weapon/ammo items; further item details are on the way. Unlike previous compilations, it now has the icons for every new item listed as well, to make it easier to get an idea of what the item is like. A big thanks to Pebbles for all the help with POLUtils, that made this process much easier.

I really like all those "Occasionally Attacks Twice" weapons ... Hope they wont be too hard obtaining...

Kinda gimps Joyuese if these other weaps are quest based. Well just a lil cause theyre dif jobs but still. That kukri with 150delay looks hawt.

Hmmm. i'm guessing the mirror mirror quest may be the fellowship quest... /scratches head.. or is it even listed on there?

Note that the Virtue Stone is EX, but not rare.

Might these weapons operate in a similar fashon to the fan/battery weapons?

Anyways, there are some pretty freaking hot mage items for BLM like the new MB earring to go with moldavite as well as some other goodies and the smns must like the Ying Yang robe!!!!

One thing I don't like about the robe is with its icon. I swear I am going to stab someone in the face if I have to run around in a Master's Gi with SMN legs at 75 >.>

All of the new equipment items from the patch are now listed in the compilation of info. There are some truly amazing pieces of gear here, with stats far beyond anything seen in the game previously in certain slots (ring, neck, etc.) None of it is crafted, best I can tell: it's almost all Rare and/or Exclusive. As information trickles in about how the items are obtained, the compilation will be updated with that as well.
