I WAS connected, downloaded the files i needed, was going to install therm and BAM, I get cut off... I have Dynamis tonight too so i betetr get on >.>

This is just THE most annoying patch ever :S ... I'm through my 8th pack of Hi-Chew now, trying to download the stupid FFXI update ... Oh well /em goes of to get a 9th pack!

Took me a 1/2 hour to get through to POL on my puter. Then the POL update took 20 minutes. One of the other computers got through to POL after an hour and it took 30 seconds to get the POL update. But now ALL the computers have the POL update but since it boots you back out, I'm still trying for some to get some back on to POL. I have one in POL but everytime I get the FFXI download going, I get the error screen of HELL! I made it past the checking and had 86% of the update d/l'd and got that frickin error!! So after 4 hours all the computer are at the same spot, they have the POL udate and thats it! >.<

POL can never do something right always fcked up
After a massive update there is always something wrong cant they not simply put a patch on their website and let ppl download it that should have troubles.
Im having same error 1160 =\ then if i can update its getting stuck at some % of donwload liek 24 or 32 blabla

Tried for an hour using US client - error 1160 all the way...
Switched to JP client (had to update it anyway), tried once, got through to the update - could be blind luck, but could be a bit of favoritism...
Doing a full file check now tho, but better that than another hour of manually retrying...
