Im at 21% with 3hrs 20 mins to go and rising.... also im on a 64k ISDN line which probably doesnt help the situation, but hey, at least its downloading now instead of giving errors, right?

I think i'm just going to wait til tomorrow, if its 10 hours now that would be of the congestion probably. This is annoying!! :'(

is it just me or does anyoneless notice this. when its downloading a fle it doesn't start downloading a .dat file for about 5 seconds then it starts to download itand downloads it in 2 seconds sometimes

For me it downloads a few .dats then stalls completely.

Ive gotten through to the downlaod 2 times now, and it has kicked me off twice... I'm getting really pissed at this point. I'm SUPPOSED to have Dynamis and I would like more buffer, but at this rate i wont have Dynamis or a buffer nor will i have FFXI for the next 3 weeks.

WHEW!! That took nearly a WHOLE day of waiting, and now it's finally over. I can go and play again. YAYYY!!

I felt the need to actually sit through it all too, as I didn't want to leave the game running by itself incase it got the PoL Connection error thing if I wasn't there to see it.
But I occupied myself watching some T.V. so I didn't get too bored out of my mind.

Finally able to download version up files. I think that the initial wave of the Japanese download has finally subsided. I'm at 57% now.

Please don't die on me. I've had error message at 95% in the past.

Mine got to about 50% today before the whole thing packed up on me, so I was only half way through.

bah i hate this sometimes i can get in and dl the ffxi patch but about half way it errors me >.> after about 3 tries i can get back but have to start the dl all over again >.>
