Did the first part solo. It was really easy and quick as RDM75. I was really annoyed with people cutting in line. When a Galka cut in front of me, I got real pissed. I /t and when I got no response I /sh in Japanese and English. Well, it turned out that he was Japanese and his justification was that he was in a PT with 2 people in front of me.

I'm absolutely dreading the wait for the dragon.

My point is that it's not all NA, there are guilty JP as well in smaller numbers.

I remember there were a few Japanese guys being quite raucous, but the worst thing was the players who just stood around the vicinity, not giving any indication what they were there for.

Our cutters were being quite racist and vulgar the entire time. There were things being said in Japanese by the JP, but I doubt it was anything incredibly disrespectful. I think I only saw one JP cutter, but I'm not sure. He stood in front of me the entire time disconnected and reconnecting, and then he stepped through a few people, then just stepped up to the door.

I'd like to think I didn't cut, but once I was closeneough I spammed the door. :| Right as I got near the rock they announced they were bringing everything down. I was pretty frustrated.

So, you play the game to be an asshole to ppl since you dont feel you can do it in real life? People also shouldnt be allowed to exploit the good manners and consideration of others by jumping ahead in line.
No, noone is forcing you to wait in line b/c noone is forcing you to do the quest right now. If you want to do the quest right now, then you need to wait in line. You are no more important than anyone else in that line and deserve no special treatment. People cured you so you couldnt cut in line and attempt the bcnm??? Cry me a river and get to the back of the line.

I'm just trying to get you to realise this; everything aside, being an asshole is not against EULA. Exploiting the game's 'bugs' by not allowing players to access areas, however, is. It falls under the harassment category. Surely you're broad-minded enough to understand this? I'm not asking for personal justice, I'm just making it clear that people doing such things should be punished, because they are breaking the EULA, and wether single-handedly or as a community, it shouldn't matter. This case is just an example. Square is not forcing you to wait in line. Players should not have the power to do so- and they should be punished if they attempt to force it on you.

Has anyone figured out how to control the npc? mine does as she pleases, basically being: she leaves after 5 min, she basically wont stay long enough to level, not matter my level. this is frustrating!

Are you saying its better to have 100+ people spamming the ??? point and the hut? making your chances to enter 1/100? while you can simply wait in a civilized way? note the word: civilized.

If you dont want to wait in line why would you? do as you please, who told you you're forced? you can cut trough and do it, and dont answer back when people yell at you for doing it, because you simply had it coming.

Your post clearly shows that you haven't read the document in question- so don't feel the need to post if you don't know what you're talking about. Okay? ^^

On a side note, several people did call GMs on me, and the GMs, of course, unlike you, have read the EULA, so they were unable to take action against me. Had there not been thirty players cure-spamming me, but, rather, one, or two, GMs would have even taken action against said player(s), I'm sure.

FFXI is an online game with nice community and social. You, sir, the few anti-social behavior such as yours is what ruining the game for everyone for the benefit of yourself. Take pride of that and drain us all you want, asshole.
