Well, as I understand it, Luto has two things to say after you have completed the quest. One thing is something about quitting, and that line leads you down the path to redo the quest. The other option is something along the idea of "Anything new to talk about," or somesuch like that. I was just wondering if that second option gets you anywhere...

Tsi, what makes you feel you didnt have to wait in line? my brother had been standing in this same line for over 3 hours. should he have to stand there and wait for you as well because you are someone special? like the gm said this is a community. we all have to work together for a goal, if that means standing in line you should just accept that. since this is just a game we cant physically grab you and your 5 year old mentality and throw you out of line, they used cures to get the point across. my bro was there when the gm came as well. if you cant treat people of this community with respect maybe you should go to WoW or some other game. your actions put you right up there with gil sellers who control nm pops and mpk, as they have no respect for others in game as yourself. i see i have a 2nd name to add to blist when im able to get on.

the point of you post is, you didn't get in line and got upset when other players who had been in line tried to stop you from doing your quest. And you got upset that GMs didn't help you.

And my point is, in real life if you cut a line and ppl start pushing you out, will the guards help protect you and keep you in line, or help throw you out of the line with rest of the ppl?

it's game, it's not a real world. But you're dealing with real ppl. Be a jerk, and ppl will return such actions to you too.

No, the point of my post is that as a community players are able to place restrictions on your gameplay, and GMs will not interfere. Square-Enix is starting to sound like Jackie-Chan with that 'We don't want no troble' Moogle. And I don't understand why you have to ressort to comparing FFXI with real life. Simply put, it isn't. You play the game to do things that you can't in real life, am I wrong? People shouldn't be allowed to exploit the game's fabric, be it what they're doing is right or wrong.

it's not restriciton but it's common sense. cutting line is never a good thing, in game or out of game and I see no point why a GM should help you.

No, noone is forcing you to wait in line b/c noone is forcing you to do the quest right now. If you want to do the quest right now, then you need to wait in line. You are no more important than anyone else in that line and deserve no special treatment. People cured you so you couldnt cut in line and attempt the bcnm??? Cry me a river and get to the back of the line.

Someone tried cutting in line for the Ghelsba Outpost BCNM, and kept bragging about it in /shout saying people couldn't do anything about it. Not long after, he couldn't beat the other people that were spamming the door, so he asked for a pt invite. A blm invited him and then casted Warp II on him.

Ppl were saying they were waiting 3 hours in line, how long is the line though, i.e. how long does it take to move one spot up in line?

I did the first part on Ragnarok last night (JST). The queue was about 70 people when I got there, but Japanese players were saying when they started waiting it was 150+. Lots of english speakers in the line too, and a few people tried to skip the queue.

What was absolutely retarded, though, was the way that the queue started from the ??? point and about 10 people at the front of the queue were getting hit by the NM AOE. Someone died too

Other annoying thing was that people were doing it one-at-a-time when you can have 3 NMs out at once for 3 people to do the quest at the same time. I dread to think what the Dragon NM is going to be like if it takes longer to kill :sweat:
