The Star Onions

[Pai Pai Master]

Similar to Nobuo Uematsu's "The Black Mages" band, Final Fantasy XI composer Naoshi Mizuta has founded his own rock group called "The Star Onions."

Their first album, entitled "The Star Onions Final Fantasy XI: Music from the Other Side of Vana'diel," will feature 10 rock arrangements of popular Final Fantasy XI songs.

The album will be released in Japan on August 24th for 2,500 yen.

It's not really "rock", but I do like it. The Gustaberg theme almost brought tears to my eyes. Sweet memories.

I definitely like this re-interpretation of Gustaberg, it's very good. The other remakes weren't as impressive, but still brought back good memories.

And that 4 vs. Fenrir thing... lol.

Actually I beleive that the Gustaberg version they are playing in the video is available as a bonus track on the COP soundtrack.

Yep you're right, I was pleasantly surprised when I heard it on the CD. Ended up ripping it too, so if anyone interested could suggest a host, I'll put it up.

They only play Gustaberg, Ronfuare, Windurst, Zi'tah, and Ru'lude Gardens. At 1:35:00 they do a play by play of 4 ppl fighting Fenrir Prime haha.

I tried going to http://www.aii.co.jp/ but I couldn't find any ff11 stuff (I can't read jp). Is there a stream with higher quality available or is that stream the only one available? Btw, thanks for the heads up.
