    No random area pop was tested with archer ring, and uterally failed.

    Making it diffcult for everyone doesn't make it better overall.

    ENM is good idea but somewhat restricting. Competition was a main factor in making good stuff good, and as opposed to required equipment.

    Possibly the easiest is a special "cut scene" like pop sequence which the monster can't be claimed, till fully finished. In which case you are only as fast as your neighbor. where everyone is ready to provoke.

      Just put every hnm inside enm orz
      That way we wont see drama/bot/shit/boring time waiting for hnm to pop/get tod and can start whenever you want no need wake up early to fight hnm like some of the hajins

      Enm can enter once every 5 days sound fair to me :x

        DRK new jse from enm ouryu only few ls can beat it many others fail sametime only few got leg/body and that enm is old now still only few beat it

            I know that claim bot programs do exist. and some linkshells on my server are shameless and they do not play fair.

            No one admits that they use these programs in forums such as the vnboards, but people know that they utilize these programs.

                  Well anyway, seems SE recently has add more of ENM type of stuff into the game. Some of them really hard to beat and needs alot team work.

                  I would really doulbt SE will change the way old ground HNM it is now. But we can still wait and see what they about to release in the near future. Seems to me SE adding more of stuff like ENM. There are something else in the game other than ground HNM that is fun to do. This kinda topic has been mentioned many times before long ago. It's start to getting old and I Think people will just have to just accept it and move onto something else. If you can't beat the bot, leave them be. It isn't worth the time to invest in them IMO. This kinda problem can never gain SE's interest to change them because they are busy thinking on adding new stuffs than change something that is so 3 years old. . .

                  But we still have some of the good opinions here that is pretty good from their owe point of view on this matter. I was kinda on the side of hoping something to be change, but thought about it, i don't really care about it that much. Some said a change might be bad and i do respect their opinions equally to mine.

                  It was a pretty nice chat and sharing opinions.

                    I understood the grammer.

                    Anyways, the way I always saw notorious monsters was that they could be tied in with a small storyline or something, so they would play a much larger part than other monsters. I wouldn't expect them to just spawn and walk in circles, or be completely swamped with people waiting to kill them.

                    Maybe they should be rewritten to be more dynamic and interesting. Suppose Behemoth and K. Behemoth made their way towards Jeuno and attacked it? What if all ground HNMs made their way towards Jeuno to attack? Combine that with a five day set wait until another five day random respawn things could be a lot more exciting. I would also suggest multiple spawn places and routes to their final destination, even including multiple final destinations.

                    It's just an idea, it has its flaws, but they could be worked out. Anything more dynamic than jamiming your provoke macros for five hours is a welcomed change.

                      And last from Lionx's post. Yeah i do aggree something he suggest about adding some very hard, more challenged fights into the game. Maybe something like a ENM fight. Isn't that all games about? Fight something tougher in the game and archieve a higher goal. Also with a super low dropping rate of good items that used to be exclusively drop by ground HNMs, with a dropping rate of a thief knife? Atleast that gives players some hope and have a second option for them to choose than go camp something for hours and trying to figure out how to beat others players or bots on the claim.

                        Just a wierd thought..how about make ground HNMs trade pop? To gain the right to fight them, we have to fight some tough ENM battle to gain the item. Probably make the drops from ground HNMs more common since it is a hassle as opposed to camping but its not that horrible an idea..at least i hope..and since we cant take the ENM the next few days that means that ground HNM items arent worth nothing. I dunno...a

                          Trade pop, would simply mean an increase camping of the trade item.

                          The whole point of the a KB type pop, is the accessiblity of the fight. Your whole LS can come whether they be lvl 50 or lvl 75, and they can come mid way into the fight, in begining of the fight or way eariler.

                          BC, ENM, type are restricted types.

                          Would you go into BC99 with anything less then 70+ and a full alliance?
                          Would it be the same for KB, or fafnir?

                          You needs a good mix of them as it appeals to different groups in different situations.

                          I guess basically, it's the, "let's go and do it" vs the "let's organize and plan".

                                They still made the CoP wyrms normal pop like all the old hnm just on a longer timeline, I don't think they will stop adding hnm in this manner altogether.

                                Adding Ouryu-style fights is a good way to go but like Kuu mentioned, it limits your group somewhat. With Ouryu you're restricted on both time and numbers, so naturally any group looking to do it is going to try and build an 'optimal' setup which can leave a lot of people feeling left out. With the normal hnm everyone can attend and contribute to the fight so it helps build a sense of unity within the ls. I wouldn't mind seeing more bc fights like this, but I don't see it as a real solution to the hnm problem, more like another option.

                                About extending time window, like Jei said you'd either end up with hardcore groups staying for the duration and everyone else getting discouraged from camping, or you'd end up with a bunch of bots watching for the pop. This already happens with Tiamat, at least on my server...we don't use bots, but my shell and another NA shell usually have someone out there watching for him to pop all the time. Once he pops it's a race to see who can gather enough people to hold him first. It would likely be the same with other ground hnm if they increased pop time to the same scale as CoP wyrms, only there'd be a lot more ls involved.
