Actually for one day I saw the FULL names of all of my songs in the translator. I could punch in 'Army' and hit tab, and I saw (Army's Paeon) (Army's Paeon II), etc, or (Magic Finale) appear as translatable options.

Then, they vanished.

I want those back, dangit!

Go to the auction house, look up BRD songs, and review the full list.

Then, bring up the chat text bar, hit tab, hit up and slect items. Then escape out of all that and you can tab all the BRD songs' full name.

OMG I cant believe no one mentioned this one yet...

How many times have you done something, and the always polite JP player in your PT says {Thank you}, and all you can respond with is "^^" or "/smile"

How about adding in {You're Welcome} or {No problem}

Is that so much to ask for? In standard english language, I consider those 2 phrases essential... not sure why they were never put into the auto-translator.

I agree. It's totally asinine to not have "Your Welcome" in the translator. They want us to get along and be respectful of one another but then don't give us the simplest of courteous phrases to use. Asinine

Just an FYI but a lot of the times if you just type and hit tab you won't always get as much words on the list as you would of if you just hit tab and searched for it in the menus.

The other really odd thing I've noticed is words the translator has seems to conform in a way to the words you use. I've had cases when i type a word hit tab doesn't showup in the translator (Just has what I typed as the last option).

I end up reselecting the word I just typed wait a few min. hit tab again and for some odd reason the word would have a translation? The Auto-Translate is a really wierd system when you start really fiddling with it, you'll notice words or phrases come and go the ones that stay seem to be the ones that are most commonly used by everyone.

I've also noticed when hitting TAB the game actually sends out some request to the server, so the auto-translate seems to have some sort of odd adaptability to it that I'm not really sure of how it works exactly.

Well, if that's the case, then the JP are being rude by not bowing, and just saying {Thank you} in the first place :p

If I'm the one who refreshed them, why should I bow? I'd rather say {No problem} or {You're welcome}

I was just screwing around with it on my lunch break and it seems to display items on your person or in your mog safe but not all of them? I can auto-translate every piece of my bone+1 set which is in my safe, but I didn't see my kenpogi+1 that i was actually wearing, but I also don't recall seeing squid sushi which is in my safe. I dunno, it's crazy.
