What Is A Taru Dance?

Hi.

I have recently been aware that Taru's can perform some kind of a pertty little dance.

While ingame, a friend once (quite recently too) mentioned to me that they have this special dance which they can perform.
At the time, I knew nothing about it, and said that that I had never seen one. But later on, away from the game, something came to me, as I had later realised that when I was back in San D'oria, before Xmas, I passed a Taru doing this amusing little dance, and just managed to catch it from the corner of my eye. I was quite amused by it too, I can tell you.

What I am wondering is....
seeing that there is a Media Downloads section around here, does anyone know if anyone has ever posted any clips of the taru's dance routine at all? I would really like to see one perform it, as I have not had a proper chance to see one yet, and would really love to.

Or if there are any other sites (or anywhere) where I could get to see this.

I mentioned it before, apparently it has to do with the style she has the board set up... looks fine to her, but on the painful side for us

To answer a question about the emotes, sometimes people modify them. For example, if you just do /panic, it will make your character do the panic motion, and it will say in blue text "Ramzi panics." But you can make a macro so it says somthing else besides the default, which is what you might have seen.

if it was, you'd have to put /wait 2-3 between each of the emotes

Yeah, what he said. Of course that macro won't have any emote then. The waits with the three motions takes up all the macro space.

He could be talking about the part of your statement refering to making gil by doing the emotes as a Tarutaru.

the taru dance is the emote /panic. some people like myself have macroed this emote in a way to get more attention or look even cuter than we already are. this is mine:

if a mithra does the panic motion well its kind of hard to describe. lol but heres a fun thing to do find yourself a pet taru. stand behind him. when he does panic motion you do panic motion. this looks like the mithra is controlling a taru marianett (puppet on strings)
i guess a mithra brd could do the panic motion and play a song and look like shes playing a piano. probaly wont get the attention the taru dance does.
