The screwy thing is, even before Chains was released, I was telling my LS my theory what the Spine of Doroga and the Crags really were.

The Spine was a magic-powered particle accellorator and Delkfutt's Tower was the main power generator, and the Crags were the nodes for power regulation (and telepoints)...

Scary how close to the truth I was...

Anyhoo, who here thinks that that ghostly boy is an "aspect" of Promathia walking the earth to ensure his plan works....

Hmmm, Hina, that info about the crags being connected and such has been around since the release of RoZ, maybe earlier(I think Bastok makes refrence to the "Crystal Line"...).

EDIT: Also, I think CoP takes place after RoZ in some factors. I think that little boy is Eld'Nache(sp?) or whatever... of course I am not far into RoZ at all so I would not know. But... Nag'something from CoP said he knew him from somewhere and the Eld' appears in a CoP cutscene, touching the crystal... where as when the little boy did it, Nag' was like "WTF? How did he do that?". Haha wild threoy I know... maybe he comes back from the dead as that? whatever... if I am right(doubt it) you heard it first here ;P.

I think CoP and RoZ are supposed to be simultanious. Many cutscenes where people make refrence to others imply that.

promathia takes place after ziraat ...
theres one cutscene in particular that ..explains .. and the state of jueno..

from what I've gathered so far...
if you take your character out of the picture...
Promathia missions take place just as Aldo, Lion, and Zeid end their assault on Tu'lia.
I'm 100% sure that "lion's actions" (which I won't spoil) cause the power surge below in Delk's tower in the very first promathia cutscene.

As for PM themselves..
here's what I've gathered/assume..

1. the mysterious boy - In one of the cutscenes I believe 4-2, Phoenix (in the form of the kantana of tenzen) sings the final verse of the song which I can't remember the name of atm...
but you know.. the one Ulmia and Nag'molada sing.
anyway the lyrics basically go:
"Long ago there was a child who came seeking Bahamut, a pact was made with that
boy, and now it was to befulfilled. The light would be given to the crystals
once more. Innocent blood spills onto the plains of Vana'deil. The world
shudders as she is thrust into chaos and despair. Niether power nor destiny
can bring an end to what has begun. However, through the storm of night, a star
of glory shines brigt. Through the howling of the beast the sound rings clear.
Shining star, echoing song you are our dreams and prayers."

I believe the boy is the boy who long ago made the pact with bahamut. I assume he is indeed Kuluu, which Bahamut seems to address earlier in the game. as to his real identity...
originally I thought he was promathia..
but then I thought maybe it was a trick and that the boy was the avatar of Altana..
I don't know

Prishe -
ok as we find out Prishe had parents who are now dead..
and although is ageless, she is only that way cause she touched something in the catacombs of sacrarium...
so I originally thought she was altana...
but I don't think..
perhaps she is the "light" described in the song from the last topic???

The Cardinal-
as you get up higher in promathia missions you start to hear more talk of a cardinal from tavnazia..
who took care of prishe and gave her the amulet, the same one the mysterious boy has..
sooooooooooo
somehow prishe, the boy, and the cardinal are connected..
how? I have no clue..
but apparently the cardinal is alive, not dead as we once thought...
people keep mentioning she is indeed alive somewhere...
strange..

Nag'molada - ok..
this guy...hmmmmm I don't know.
it's obvious (as he even mentions it) that he's got something of he own going on behind the scenes..
what his goals are I don't know yet..
but it's pretty clear he's either gonna go 1 of 2 ways..
1. as a kuluu he is the only person who can save humanity and betrays the zilart girl and becomes a good guy..
2. ooooor he turns into the FFXI version of Kefka, betraying the girl and instead of saving the world using the avatars for his own evil...

only time will tell

I didnt like him at first... but hes intriguing to say the least. I hope the kefka route doesnt happen. man Vana would be in trouble
