You can ride chocobo at 15 now!

I don't know if any of you have read what all the update did but check out playonline:

"The level restriction for riding chocobos in the three main nations has been decreased to 15.
In order to ride a chocobo at level 15, it is still necessary to acquire a chocobo license in the same way under the same conditions as before the update.
However, the amount of riding time for characters lower than level 20 will be shortened."

Yes!! Now an excuse to go to town :p

I took a level 19 buddy to Jeuno based on this news. When we got there he could not get the quest

This is mentioned on their website...

just because the limit to ride a chocobo has been lowered to 15, does not mean you can get the quest at 15.

This is just a treat to those already at 20...they can now, with their subs or whatever, ride a choco at 15...

which I think is fantastic! my 15BLM can now cruise out to the dunes instead of walking!

You can't ride chocos at Jeuno, Kazham, any of the Krags, etc. etc. at level 15. Which isn't that big a bummer except for the crags.. Been plenty of times after a long session, say in Valkurm, that I'd like to zone into the highlands, hop onto a choco and just ride back home.

This did NOT work yesterday.

I was at the crag in the highlands as a level 16 palladin, and could not get a choco. They said I needed a license. I check my key items and yup, choco license. was there. Could I ride one? no.

Anyone know whats up with this?

so if my main job is 16war i have to wait to 20 to get a license? Do i have to go all the way to jueno to get a license or can i get one in bastok? thanks

TO GET LICENSE
* Be at level 20
* Travel to Jeuno
* Complete Choco License quest

TO RIDE CHOCO (Bastok, San D'Oria, Windhurst)
* Have license
* Be at least level 15 of current job (note, ride time is halved if you are under 20 from 30 min to 15 min)

TO RIDE CHOCO (Anywhere else)
* Have license
* Be at least level 20

I'll just stay in valkurm till i get 18 and do s/j then go buy new armor and lvl to 20 to jueno, thanks
