Welcome to the Valefor Crafter's Directory
I originally started this directory in September 2004, spurred by an idea from Ravel. The idea was a crafting exchange; "I can make ____ in exchange for ____." That idea evolved in to a directory. Each craft is represented by a sticky thread and contains the following:
DIRECTORY - a listing of crafters on Valefor for that craft. Requirement is Apprentice skill level (38~40+) for that particular craft; please make a post with your craft skill levels if you are interested in being added.. If possible, please indicate whether the craft is your main craft, a sub-craft, and/or if a crafting mule, the preferred character name to contact you at. If you find yourself listed, and did not post in this forum, your information was copied from the original directory. If you would like the info updated, please post, send me a PM, or try to send a /tell to me in game.
CRAFT RESOURCES - hours and location(s) of that particular craft's guild shop(s). Guild NPC names and what they give, e.g. contract NPC that requests guild point items, synthing and advanced synthing NPCs, etc. Will add more as need be.
CRAFT GUIDES - a list of links to crafting guides, culminated from various sources. Currently (as of 05.09.2006), a lot of these guides may be outdated or missing. I will slowly work on finding new guides, updating links and removing dead links.
Please bear with me, this is always been a project that is in progress. I reserve the right to delete posts that are spam, or go way off-topic and should be posted elsewhere. I may also delete posts in the sticky threads after the relevant
information has been added to the first post, e.g. crafter requests to be listed in that craft's directory. If you have any suggestions, comments or ideas, please feel free to post them here.
Also, this is not a linkshell, so there are no set standards for crafting fees. It is up to the individual crafter as to how they will handle any craft requests, and whether they will charge a fee for their services. So, if you are requesting an item to be made, please take this in to consideration and contact the crafter(s) directly to see if they are charging a fee, and if so, how much the fee is. Buyer beware.
